Lock and Love Women's Basic Solid Tie Dye Foldable High Waist Floor Length Maxi Skirt S-3XL Plus Size

I am 5'4", around 116 lbs, with approximately 37" hips, and I purchased the size Small.This skirt is great! It's super soft and lightweight, with just the right amount of stretch. The foldover waistband provides comfort and customization for how high/how long you want the skirt to be.The fabric IS quite thin, so if you get a lighter color, like I did in the mint green shade, you'll want to be sure to choose your undergarments appropriately (both skin-toned and seamless, as seams will be evident under this fabric). At 5'4", the length of this skirt is also a little bit long on me in flats, but I've come to expect this from most maxi-length items. With a pair of wedges, it's perfect, and I can get by in flip flops if I lift the skirt when walking up stairs and such.Overall, the price of this skirt cannot be beat for a beautifully light, flowy, soft, breathable maxi skirt.

I just reviewed a matching shirt for this skirt and thought I'd comment here as well.This review is for the LL (Lock & Love) tie-dye maxi skirt. A maxi skirt means that the skirt goes down to your ankles. And this skirt does exactly that. If you are short the waist area allows you to fold over the material to shorten the length (this also helps snug up the waist if it gets too loose).The tie dye quality is done very well, true tie dye. The material is very thin and GREAT for summer. I also recommend the matching shirts (comes in various styles), it matches perfectly.I ordered the 3X, and I normally wear an XL or 1X to have more movement and to allow for shrinkage. It fit nicely, though I did have to fold the waist over a couple times to snug it up to have a sense of security that it wouldn't fall down. In ordering another skirt I'd instead go with 2X. I suspect the XL would fit fine, but being a thin stretchy material it would cling and I prefer to have a bit of flow of movement with skirts.If you choose a darker color or the tie-dye pattern it will not be see through. The tag says it is 95% rayon and 5% spandex. My only complaint is that I wish these were cheaper so I could buy a dozen more.Overall, a very cute and comfortable skirt for summer and I love that you can get the matching shirt (short/long sleeve, tunic, tank, dress). I can't comment on shrinkage since I hand wash (recommended) and lay it flat to dry. It doesn't wrinkle easy and being so thin barely takes up space in a suitcase. Keep the tags on until you make sure it fits. It comes shipped in sealed plastic, folded up into a small square. I hope this helps someone. Good luck choosing your color(s)! :)

Ok first let me say...ORDER YOUR NORMAL SIZE! These are US sizes, not Asian sizing. I compared my measurements with this company's size chart and read so many reviews, but still couldn't decide what size to order. Well, I finally settled on an XXL, just in case it was Asian sizing...I figured I could make it work if it was too big or even too small, because it is made from a soft jersey cotton with spandex. I wish every company described fabric the same way, it gets so confusing when you are reading descriptions and it says polyester or rayon and what they mean is modal or jersey. Both fabrics have a lot of stretch and this skirt has a lot of stretch. It is so soft and comfortable.It is GORGEOUS! The tie dyeing is beautifully done and the dye is not faded out, washed out, or printed on ink, it is actually tie dyed. I have been looking at these skirts for a while, trying to make up my mind about purchasing....now that I have, I really wish I had bought it sooner! It is that nice. I love maxi skirts in the summer. They are cool and flatter every body type. It really doesn't matter how tall or short, big or small. I ordered one in purple. It is not quite as dark as the picture, more of a violet red tie dye, very pinky-purple. It will look great with a white or black tank top or tshirt. These are long enough that it brushes the top of my feet and I am 5'7. My measurements are as follows: 38D bra/ 34" waist/ 45" hips. I am a pear shaped body type. I ordered the XXL and probably could have ordered the L or XL. I recently lost 28lbs. and am working on losing more, so it won't be long I will need to take this skirt in a bit. I can wear this skirt pulled up underneath my arms as a midi tube dress or folded down on my waist to make it a flowy midi skirt as well as the maxi skirt it is. It is very generously cut. There is a slight flowiness to it and it does not stick to any of my lumps or bumps. I love it! I will most definitely be ordering more of these skirts from this company. It looks as though they have an accurate sizing method, so follow their size chart. The sizing chart is the last photo with the skirt photos. If you normally wear a large, you should order a large.This skirt is well made with a high quality jersey fabric and quality dyes. It is cut and sewn together well. Mine had retail tags attached and I had to remove them to try the skirt on. I am so glad I finally took a chance and ordered it.I received a discount on this product in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I read reviews to help me compare products and make purchases. Oh my gosh, i love this skirt! I am 5'9 150lbs wear a US medium (8-10) Tall. I bought a size large and the fit is perfect. It's loose (I could have gotten a medium) and long to my toes (and im tall)! Highly recommend! I got the black and the grey. Will look for more colors!!

I bought this in coral/white and olive tie dye. The fabric is very thin. The white/coral skirt is see through on the lighter areas but I bought it for $11 so am planning on dying a darker color over it. The olive skirt (bought for $9) was not see through, but was 4" shorter on one side. I can hem it myself to fix it. Overall, the skirts are ok but if I had paid more for them I would have definitely sent them back. Only keeping these because of the low price. I wanted to wear mine high waisted. I am 65" and 125# and ordered the small. It was long enough to touch the floor and fit snugly but not too tight at my hips.
