This book is so well written you loose track of time and it is hard to set down,It takes you into a magical world that feels more real than where you are sitting leaving you wanting more with each book in this series.And they all deliver a wonderful magical story about the most famous wizard of all time......Merlin

I read this series when i was 15. I loved it all the way through, from Lost years to the Wings. I decided to pick it up again at 25 and it's still just as good as I remember. The characters are memorable and the Isle of Fincayra is amazing. Definitely a must read if you love fantasy novels.

This book was good but you knew where the story was going half way through the book. The humans with wings was just to easy to figure out that they would get their wings back.

I enjoyed the entire series!!!! It’s a series & without this book, I wouldn’t be able to understand young Merlin. Anyone who is interested in Merlin will truly enjoy learning of his childhood.

Amazing book filled with magic and adventure

T.A. Barron has my son and I hooked on this series.We read it three times a week, and have a difficult time putting the book down when our reading time is over. The story is exciting and characters are enchanting.

The stories are amazing but this print the cover didn't fit the rest of the book. It looked a bit sloppy
