Works great on Ender 3
Got these to replace a hotend for an Ender 3 and I've should have done it much earlier. The one one was making so much noise that it sounds like the printer was going to take off. For a set of 4 it's much cheaper through China but needed them asap so no complaints...

Great price and works great!
Great price for five fans, works as intended and is quiet.

Very quiet
I, like many others stuck an allen screw in to my fan on my Maker Selct v2 while I was putting it back together after removing a piece of filament after the roll ran out. When I got my printer the extruder fan would make a god awful squawking as the machine was booting up and then normalize, but was never very quiet. I bought this printer as an open box and I suspected that the noise might have been the reason that someone returned it because it was otherwise a perfectly fine printer. Needless to say, after I broke off three blades from the same side of the fan the fan was VERY noisy and rattled anything that wasn't secure in it's wake.I say all of that to qualify my review because I'm about to rave at how quiet the fan is, but it could be because I've been living with a fan that was on it's last leg for a couple of years and one that was severely damaged for a week or so.Having said all of that, this fan is incredibly quiet. I booted the machine after replacing the fan and waiting for it to come on.... waited....must have reversed the wires on the plug when I shortened it and put it back together... NOPE it's just that quiet. Can't hear it at all. My printer sits right next to me at my desk and since we've been quarantined it's been running pretty much all day every day and it's such a better experience now that the fan isn't rattling or squawking at me. Recommend these fans if you're looking for a quieter (than mine was) replacement or if like so many of us that have these printers, have stuck an allen wrench through your fan at full speed and broken off some teeth. Eventually the imbalance will wreck the fan anyway so you might as well go ahead and order some.

These fans are silent!!!
I put two of these fans on my ender 3 as replacements and they are completely silent! They are a bit short still, even for the long wires (39") but other than that, they are totally worth it, plus they are very cheap compared to the on brand creality fans. Please buy! It is worth it!

Cheap and Useful
These 40mm 5V fans come in a nice plastic case. The small 40mm 5V fans are very useful for smaller projects with MCUs, Raspberry Pis or MOSFETs involved so it's worth picking up a 5 pack. At about 2 bucks each, they're a pretty good value too. Running them at 60% PWM seems to be more than adequate cooling and also keeps them in a nice and quiet zone; when running them at full blast they do output quite a bit of air but also become high pitched and annoying.

Works great on a Monoprice Select Plus IIIP printer but the leads are way too long
I purchased these to replace the noisy fan on the heat sink for my Monoprice Select Plus IIIP printer (same as the Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus). The original fan was noisy from the day I received my printer and it eventually died a few days ago. The new fan is incredibly quite. In fact, after I installed it, I had to actually look at it to see if it was turning. Once the fan is at full speed, you can hear it running but it is still much, much quieter than the original.I have noticed two issues with using this as a replacement on my printer:First, the lead length is much longer. The original fan lead was 80mm (3.14 inch) long. These fans have 290mm (11.4 inch) long leads (see pictures). I ended up bundling the extra length up inside the housing on the back near where the connector plugs in.Second, as others have pointed out, these fans take a few seconds to get up to full speed. I don't consider this a significant issue, especially in my use case where it is on constantly while the printer is on.Replacement fans are $8 each from monoprice (plus shipping) so I figured getting five for basically the price of one was a great deal. Even if they don't last as long as the original, they are quieter and cheaper than the replacement fans from monoprice. And, bonus, I automatically have some spares on hand if one goes out.

As good as you can get for 4010 fans for value over time. Still not great.
I run a 3D printing business and gone through about every 4010 fan you can buy. I've found that these are the best value you can get for a fan on Amazon. They only last a couple months at 24/7 operation but at ~$2 each you can't beat the price with the quick delivery. All the "higher quality" and more expensive 4010s I've tried don't last long enough to be worth the extra cost. For any hobbyist printers I'd recommend making/buying a new hotend housing to accept blower fans and ditch the 4010s entirely. These just don't last like the blower fans do. In the last 3 years, I've gone through so many 4010s I lost track of the exact number.I am down to my last 3 of the Ender 3 Pros left in production as I transition to all Prusa machines so this is likely the last batch of fans I'll need to buy. I'd recommend everyone printing for profit big or small, just make the move to higher end machines as you can afford it so you don't have to keep buying cheap parts that don't last. It's way worth the money upfront.

Nice and quiet
Bought these to try on my Enders as the stock fans are very loud and I found it most annoying. They weren't advertised as being quiet but other reviews said they were so I tried them and was not disappointed. Installed them on my entire fleet of Ender 3 Pros as well as an Ender 3 Max. Super easy to splice in.
