Works great! Exactly what I needed
It’s great having just one single track. Only had to get longer lag bolts because the siding and trim boards were too soft, wanted more bite in the studs. And had to get longer carriage bolts because my door is 2 1/4” wide, not manufacturer’s fault.Only thing I’d recommend is longer lag bolts if you’re going into 1 1/2” of soft wood like me.Also, this is outside so noise doesn’t concern me, but if placed inside, it would be too noisy for a bedroom if you don’t want to wake others in the night

Good not great. 3.5 stars.
Heavy duty components should hold up nicely.-Should have come with washers for the hardware to attach the door.-Would be better if sent with a few bolts sizes so that you don't have to drill into the top of the door.-Bottom "track" guides are cheap and unusable for a raised shed.

Great concealed track
I like the clean looks of this track. Since the wheels are inside the track there should be no risk of a child lifting the door off the tracks and having an accident.I also like that the brackets bolt through the door instead of screwing down into the top of the door. The supplied lag bolts were a little short to get through the header board I was using and into a stud. I used some longer Spax Powerlag washer-head screws.

Just as described
Wish they would sell extra pieces for the rail.

Bypass system works great for my project
I used this system for an external barn door project. The bypass system works great even when adding two 8 foot sections. Following the directions provided allowed the sections to align perfectly and I did not need the recommended connecting bracket. Using plastic gate doors allowed for a lightweight door. These are not loud at all and move smoothly. Adding a top support board gave me the perfect connection and support even with limited head space on one end of the structure. I would definitely use this system again.

Just perfect.
Just what I needed. Ok. Reading some reviews I was worried. I should not have been. We have a 2021 jayco eagle travel trailer I wanted to put a barn door bathroom entry in.This was perfect. I did have to mount a 1 by 4 to mount it on to give it additional clearance. This mount is heavy dutyThe rollers look very sturdy. It is more noisy than the top roller style but you have 8 nylon rollers going inside a metal track instead of just 2 rolling along the top. When the nylon rollers rub against the inside rail you get noise. So what. The clearance is perfect. The top of mount is against the ceiling and is perfect height.

It’s loud and doesn’t roll smooth
The media could not be loaded. I worked for hours to find a space saving ceiling mount barn door slider and then designed the space around it and built a door for it. My contractor installed it, uninstalled it and installed it again because it was extremely noisy and didn’t guide smoothly. The wheels rub on the sides of the track and are sticky, WD40 helped but far from the solution. After multiple attempts we realized it’s just not a good design. The wheels are not quiet rollers and the track makes it even louder. I have capitulated knowing I bought the wrong item and should have read more reviews. I would not buy this again and wish I never bought it. Unfortunately I’m very unhappy. I wish I could return it and I’m stuck with it after install and cutting the rail to fit.
