All good now. It's a great unit.
Update2: The parts that were damaged in shipping were replaced by the manufacturer. Thanks so much for that! Now that I have undamaged panels, I can say this rackmount system is really nice. It looks great. It's very heavy duty and there's nothing wobbly. It's longer than I expected, it's a long rectangle - but that's fine. The instructions for assembling it are a little unclear, but you can find videos online.Update: The manufacturer contacted me and they will send me replacement pieces for the damaged parts, and that the damage must have happened in shipping. Once I get those parts and install them, I will update my rating - I think this will be a great cabinet once I get parts that aren't damaged.I am super disappointed in this purchase. I paid almost $500 and another &70 for shipping on top of that. The delivery box was in pretty good shape but once opened it was clear the unit that was delivered to me has been used before. It is damaged in multiple places. All of the small screws/bolts/nuts were not in bags, so they were all strewn about the inside of the box - I'm sure having all those small metal pieces rattling around inside the box through transit contributed to some of the issues with this unit. Take a look at the pictures. Both sides and the rear are badly bent so that they don't fit well. One of the mechanisms that holds one of the sides in place has been torn...It's plastic, seems like someone forced one of the sides to open without using the Open mechanism. The worst part - the top piece of this unit is badly damaged. It is ugly. I don't think I can use this unit. I'm not sure how possible it is to get a refund now, but if you're thinking about purchasing one please know that I regret this purchase.

A great rack for the money
This is actually a pretty decent rack. It took me over an hour to setup excluding taking out of the packaging. A few pieces are bent and dented (see photos) so FedEx really gave this thing a beating because it’s steel. The instructions that come with this are terrible! For instance they say don’t tighten the bolts until step 6. But you need to tighten them before this step! So I had to assemble and disassemble a few parts here and there as I realized the instructions didn’t clearly convey the part needed. The one thing the instructions don’t mention are the 4 screws needed for the front and are apparently crucial to the structural integrity of the rack! I didn’t have them in and even with everything in place, the rack flexed a lot. As soon as I put the screws in, it was solid. I also struggled with assembling the front lock as it came apart trying to put the locking lever on. See photo of how this should go.Speaking of screws, quality control failed and I came across some screws that still had the metal in the middle. See photo comparing the bad screws to good screws and you’ll see what I mean. Thankfully there are plenty of extra screws! Finally this rack cuts down noise a lot. It’s not soundproof, but it made my office noticeably quieter. I have a Catalyst 3750-X, a HP Proliant DL360p G8, and a Supermicro all on and running. I couldn’t do this before. The exhaust fan at the top also helps a lot and is the one reason I got this rack. The only major complaints I have is that the rear panel is screwed on, not latched like the side panels. This makes working in the back difficult as that is where I put the PDU. The PDU is also pretty cheap feeling. I have plans to replace it. I wouldn’t use it long term.Overall, great rack. I just knocked a star off because of the bad instructions.

Large, sturdy, and well built!
This unit will house any normal server chassis without issue and is built out of very sturdy materials for the frame. The sides attach easily and the customization for rack posts is very helpful to get things just where you want them. On top of all of that, it looks nice too! The included PDU and fan are a nice touch. The only reason it's knocked down one star is because the shelf arrived dented and one of the spring latches for the side panels isn't functioning (meaning the side is leaning out a little). It doesn't affect the main functionality of the product, but it was disappointing. I contacted Sysracks through their website and will update if and when they respond.Update: they responded quickly and after checking the pictures, are sending me a new latch. Top notch service and well worth the 5 star rating!

Great server rack, but some cons
This is a great server rack and well-built, especially for the price.Pros:- Well-built and sturdy- Casters, which allow for mobility and work/roll well- Comes with fan, mountable power strip, and one mountable appliance shelf (maybe 12 inches?)- Side panels are easily removable via their latches and each have a locking mechanism (although I wouldn't rely on it)- Looks great, especially the glass clear front panelCons:- The instructions could really use some work. It took much longer to put it together than needed, and for some items (e.g., installing locks, door latches, etc.) there were no instructions at all. Other areas the instructions were so vague I had to guess (still not sure parts are put together correctly...)- Back panel is screwed in, which if you're working with anything over around 30" in depth, makes it challenging to work on from the side. That means you will either need to leave the back panel off or unscrew it each time. Recommend making the back panel work on a latch system similar to the sides, or at the very least, use thumb screws that can be easily removed.- Front panel droops quite a bit when open. It is not a big deal, but may want to consider adding some thicker/more durable washers on the hinges.All-in-all, very happy with the purchase and recommend it!
