To the confused reviewer that rated this book a 2 and suggested that the author maybe "didn't understand the material," perhaps you're just not cut out for the medical field if you lack the intellectual ability to follow this easily comprehensible text. Michael Levitzky is one of the most respected pulmonary physiologists in the world. Something tells me he, and the thousands of med school, RT, & CRNA students that use this text at the country's largest universities understand it just fine.

This and West's book are the easily the best pulmonary physiology texts in print. Everything you ever wanted to know about pulmonary phys in a convenient, easy to read package.
The pulm phys bible imo. Little biased having the wonderful Dr. Levitsky as a lecturer, but the book is an easy read and has given me a very comfortable grounding in pulmonary phys.. Excellent for any phys course and a valuable resource in step prep.

Great Textbook
My daughter is in medical school and this is one of the recommended textbooks she needed. I am guessing that it has been a great resource for her. Book was delivered promptly and just as described.

Decent book, not perfect by any means, but definitely can give you a lot, pair it with BRS and youll kill pulm on boards and medical school exams

Great book. Helped me to pass the pulmonary physiology portion of CRNA school. Really helped to solidify my knowledge base on the subject.
