Sumo Challenge

Want to defy time and space? Well, SUMO CHALLENGE will make it happen! Long stretches in doctor's / dentist's waiting rooms? Bah! Forget those wrinkled magazines! This book destroys time and smashes space! I become so engrossed in these puzzles that the clock melts like a Dali painting, and the waiting room disappears altogether! Anywhere I have to go where I know I'm in for a seemingly eternal period of dull, dead time, I'm armed w/ this book. Having puzzled for years, and loved Sudoku, 3D Sudoku, Hidato, etc., etc., etc., this book is the best yet for incinerating boredom and sealing one's self in a capsule of impenetrable oblivion! Puzzle on, my friends...

This Sumo Challenge is very accurately named, it is very challenging because of the size of the individual boxes - they are very small. I understand why they cannot be bigger and still be on that size paper. I really do love it, but it is also easy to be on the wrong line or block altogether. Out of the 10 I have completed, I got three correct first attempt, but the other seven required an erase job and restart at least once and a few of them several times. Still I love the challenge and am enjoying it very much.

Another of my go to books while I am waiting for something. I typically carry a "meeting" bag (big purse that has all my meeting supplies in it) or a diaper bag when my daughter is with me. This book finds its way into either bag when I know that I am going to be out and about, with expected waits. It amazes people to see how complicated Sudoku puzzles can get. This is one of 2 Sudoku books of mine that my husbands doesn't try to finish for me.

Awesome book of suduko. Tough enough to be a challenge but not impossible to do. Takes me about two hours to finish one.

I like samurai Sudoku so found these puzzles a welcome challenge. However the puzzles are much too small. They should at least fill the page or better yet be in a larger book.

Love it. I'm a real sudoko fan and really enjoyed the puzzles. They are hard enough to keep me interested but not so hard that I have to look at the answers in the back.

Very challenging and giving my brain a workout love the fact it is large enough on the page as well as enough room to write the numbers out to the side if need be

I love the idea, but it seems as though the publishers were more concerned with leaving room on the page for notes, as opposed to making the puzzle as big as possible. They could have made the puzzles at least 2 inches bigger. Hard to write numbers so tiny.

Great book good quality paper. Erased one half dozen times and paper still great to continue.
