Dora the Explorer - Dora's Halloween [VHS]

Kids love it! But only had 1 episode with Halloween but that's ok.

Of all the Dora DVDs I've purchased, this one seems to be the least exciting for my grandchildren. I haven't figured out why, but their interest isn't as captivated by the 'seasonal' versions of the series. Now they love the thematic versions, but the holiday ones really don't captivate them as much. I'm still giving all of Dora's DVDs a five star rating due to the educational content and easy to learn techniques.

These movies follow the same basic pattern as the TV show, so if you have a youngster who loves Dora, then he or she will loves these movies. I appreciate that each disc has multiple episodes because it adds value to this purchase. I kind of wish I got the videos with episodes from different shows, though, since my daughter enjoys Blues Clues as well. I would have liked to have the variety, but Dora was her favorite at the time of purchase, and this product definitely delivered.

I ordered the whole series, and very happy with my purchase. I expected to take delivery in 7-10 days, but the package was delivered in 3 days. Very happy with Amazon, I have never had a bad experience.

Halloween, Halloween, Trick or Treat!! Cute songs and non scary Halloween fun for young children!The added bonus of Dora's usual vocabulary lesson is always great. My 19 month old woke up after watching this all week around Halloween and said "open"..."abrae" (open in Spanish, sorry, I don't know if I'm spelling this correctly!). How cool is that?!Dora is great and this is a wonderful DVD to get in the Halloween spirit without getting scared :)

My 2 1/2 year old niece being a massive Dora fan already I knew I couldnt go wrong with this - it didnt disappoint - It is educational and she does interact with the various challenges / songs - only downside is im not the biggest fan of Dora's voice ! :)

初めて5歳と3歳の子供にDora the Explorerを見せたきっかけのDVDでした。黒猫のコスチュームがとてもかわいくて、またドラちゃんの英語のリズムはとても心地よく最後まで見入っていました。（英語のビデオは途中で興味が薄れることが多いのですが…）家を回ってノックし中から人が出てくる設定も子供は気に入ったようです。"Hallween, halloween, trick on treat!"のチャンツは見ていた大人の私もついつい一緒に口ずさんでしまうもの。ハロウィンにちなんだ単語もたくさん出てきて、自然とリピートしていました。ハロウィンってこんなことするんだーっていうのも子供なりに理解できるはずです。Lake, Tunnel,Rainbowの三つの単語を続けて言うシーンがありますが、自然とリピートしてる子供の口を見ていますと、Lakeの"L",Rainbowの"R"をしっかりと聞き分けて正しく発音しています。またトンネルではなく「タノー」（笑）小さなことですが、大人は舌をこうやって、と教えて練習し身につけていく英語の音声を、聞いたまま無条件で受け入れ発声できる子供ってすごいなぁーと改めて感心。5歳の息子よりも3歳の息子のほうがこの傾向が強かったです。はじめてのDora the Explorerでしたので、ほかのこのシリーズと比べたコメントはできませんが、パズルのシーンなどもあり、子供たちに考えさせる場面も多く、かわいく、たのしく、ためになる盛りだくさんの一品だと思います。

ドーラが大好きな３歳の娘のために購入しました。３本セット、アメリカから送られてくることを考えたらとってもお買い得です。発送もトラブルなく、それに予定より早く到着。１本のDVDに３つのストーリーが入っています。我が家のリージョンフリープレーヤーでも問題なく見れます！よい買い物をしました♪我が家の娘はマーメイドのお話に夢中です。
