the glass broke on my top piece that slipped off because the clips are not functional the clips are too wide or the glass is too thin

Works Great - high quality
I've had one of these that I have used for over 10 years now. Works great. I replaced the clips with my own pads. It is made of glass, so you have to be careful about moving it around. (Duh)
