i have noticed when i plug this into my digital vhs to cd converter, only B&W comes out....no color...

I tried to get quite a few products like this to work and they either produced a garbled picture or there was an annoying buzzing noise that wouldn't go away.Happy to report that this cable worked without any of these problems with my android box.Just remember that when you deal with these chinese android boxes the video signal might not come from the yellow cable. On mine it seeems to come from the red.

This cable is not wired for sony oled tv's . it is good quaility, but did not work on my sony oled tv the seller should provide a pinout listing to prevent confusion.

Bought this mini-AV adapter to connect a Sony Bravia XBR43 K800H TV to my A/V system that uses RCA plugs/jacks. I was not able to make it work.The pin out (not specified in the item description) for the unit I received was...tip - video - yellow RCA2nd ring - left audio - white RCA3rd ring - right audio - red RCA4th ring (nearest cable) - ground - RCA sleeveThe review called "Pin Out." by "Seth" says the Sony Bravia sets require ground on the 3rd ring. Apparently, in his case, the adapter he obtained first was the wrong pin out, but, after an exchange, he obtained the correct one, and the replacement worked.I have no idea how to predict the pin out if you order this item.Amazon sells another item (made by Poyiccot) with a specified pin out; it has the ground on the fourth ring. If that matches your (non-SONY) device, I'd suggest that item.I returned this for a refund, no problem, but have not yet found the item I need on Amazon. I will not try "pot luck" again.

This product is used to connect my VHS player to a Sony XBR-800H TV. This was the option I had because these new Sony's no longer have a set of composite input ports for old-style A/V connectors. Instead, they have a single 3.5 mini-plug port. The Sony spec for the port is kind of goofy and didn't map to the wiring layout of this cable. Wire 2 for Sony is the video-in port. On mini-plugs, this is usually the R-audio channel labeled "red". So, by trial and error, I found the video would finally work properly if I connected the "yellow" video out cable to the "red" connector on this product. Fortunately, I run the audio from the VHS player through my A/V receiver so I do not rely on the audio connection direct to the TV. Tough luck to anyone trying to do that, I think. It would have been better if Sony provided their own connector for their unusual wiring design.

It works perfectly, I use it to connect my retro game to a car monitor
