Even at its shortest, guitar is too low. Adjustment mechanism leaves an uncomfortable surface in contact with the shoulder.

I got this originally as "finishing touch" to a custom guitar I'm building for my son (Fender 62 Strat if you really wanna know). As a benchmark, I only usually use Levy's straps and I'm not a huge fan of spending a ton of money on a utilitarian item like this, but for £39 as part of a custom job, you'd think it'd be worth.Think again. This is a sub-standard strap compared with relatively simple leather straps at half the price. The leather is thin, the finish not-so-special (and certainly not "worn-in"), with a brown colour not unlike diarrhoea. Overall the feel and look is cheap. All I can say in favour is that it is at least functional.Horrible. Certainly not worth buying and DEFINITELY not competitive with other brands like Levys (other straps are available).

This smells like leather. It's a durable thickness, simple construction. The outward facing side is shiny and smooth, so it does not really have any character at all. I do believe that I will sand it. Strap locks are a must, and really should have been included.

I wanted a really comfortable guitar strap as my past experience with inexpensive guitar straps was not a very good one. In my research the Fender Broken-In Leather Strap was always mentioned as one of the most comfortable and at first I doubted it because by the looks of it, it does not offer any padding and what not. My previous guitar strap dug into my shoulders, which was very unpleasant. Surprise, surprise! This Fender strap exceeded my expectations! The genuine leather smell is just glorious and it is very comfortable to use! Somehow the suppleness of the leather lays on the shoulder just right and I have not experience any discomfort in using it. It looks great too! A bit pricey, but you pay for what you get and this one sure is a high recommend for me. Very elegant, very sleek-looking, very comfortable!

Very light weight and durable. I've been using for months and have no complaints. It's hard to find a much better strap without spending significantly more money.
