My 2nd one
My first one lasted 8 years! Thats why I got another. Super brilliant and no batteries to buy. Holds charge for a long time. Bought 2nd set of batteries after 5 years but one original still is good.

This is the worst!!!!
I bought this for my neighbors birthday. He is 8. He was so excited that he was going to get one, as he loved my late husband's that is magnificent. Same brand and same comments Bigger and better this was cheap and broke all parts in my hand. Sorry never did a review before but dang!

I had another one for many years and it finally gave out so I saw that it was still being sold so I had to get a new one. Nice light.

Tactical??
The flashlight has fixed and not very useful focal setting. At any distance beyond say 20 ft the light spreads out and becomes dimmer than it should be. Flashing is 'cute', 3 short 3 long, 3 short flashes. Tactically speaking SOS. Now that must often come handy while everyone in the neighborhood sees the wide spread light. Including the 'enemy'. Tactically speaking...Buy something else!

Where's the battery?
I was trying to buy a battery for the flashlight. So now I have two flashlights without a battery. The rate features are all 1 star because without a battery there is no brightness, no battery life, and sure don't know if it is water resistant. Oh well.

item arrived - obvious wear markings - signs of corrosion inside - switch did not work -Fortunately, this was to replace a similar broken Ultrafire I had - so was able to cobble together a working unit from my parts
