Lamp is very good value and having the on/off rocker switch on the base is really useful. The base is weighted so the lamp is very solid and stable. On a critical note the paint finish is not top notch but you have to balance this with the overall cost. A globe style E27 bulb fits perfectly, refer to photos. Although the original item arrived damaged, it was replaced very promptly with no issues, I can’t fault the after sales support which at the end of the day gives you the confidence to buy.

It completely changed the mood of my room! It is not just the colour (red) and the retro-look - it is the softness of the light (small screw, tiny bulb £1.99). NB the intensity of the light will very much depend on the intensity of the "small-screw" bulb you will choose (buy separately - about £2 or less). If I had been the designer I would have made the base slightly thinner. It feels out of proportion (a wee bit) with the rest but that could be just my perception ... not enough to remove a star. It is steadier as it is, anyway.

Its a good little lamp, make sure to buy a golfball sized e27 bulb to fit in it as standard bulbs protrude out of the front. Ive had no issues with it getting too hot using an LED bulb, If you look closely you can see the finish on the lamp looks a bit cheap but overall looks good.

Very nice Lamp Very good value for money

The lamp itself is ideal, so much so I purchased a second when the first arrived. This was before I had great difficulty in finding a bulb, a problem which should be clearly addressed in the item description.....it has cost me more in bulbs than it has for the lamp! Is definitely misleading, the first E27 bulb was a standard, - the whole bulb practically protruded, Candle bulbs, and a variety of other types and sizes tried, including the standard golf ball, all still protruded. Eventually, I found the E27 mini golf, doesn't protrude but is very limited in availability. A two word addition to the item's description would have saved this angst and money spent! As it is, it is very misleading. The positives, for me, now that it works as expected and looks more aesthetically pleasing, which certainly minimizes the risk of accidental burns I love it. It is small, bright and looks cool. The negatives stem from the fact that there is very limited choice and availability in this size of bulb....the SES being readily available in all types, so despite the fact that the lamp itself would have been 5 star, sadly I can only give it 3.

Bought for grandson's room he loves red .. great lamp very good quality

This lamp looks great, it's small so perfect for tiny desks like mine but it does the job and looks really good quality. Would recommend.
