I ordered one a long time ago, this time I ordered four more...
So the first one came in reasonable time...This four did not come after two months so I contacted the seller and they researched the tracking and determined that they got lost. And would not likely arrive. So they quickly sent four more out via DHL so that I would get them faster without any mishap. They arrived today complete and good condition.I am thankful for the integrity and service as much as I am for the fine product.Probably seems strange that I order so many sterling engines. But what you fail to realize is; I am and evil genius bent on global domination and these sterling engines are critical to my plans. So Elon Musk watch your back cause I'm coming for you.

Don’t waste your money.
We assembled the engine as per the instructions. It just didn’t work! Don’t waste your money.

Everything is better with beer
Ran just fine for me though I had to get it hotter then expected. Adding an aluminum jacket to help hold the heat made a big difference. Instructions were easy to follow only took about 5-10 minutes to put together. I also suggest adding multiple shims on the cold cylinder side to ensure parts aren't touching.

Bad instructions, not guaranteed to function
Instructions are incomplete, vague and also a bad translation. Some of the instructions were just wrong (one part was the wrong one, got stuck and had to use an electric screwdriver to get out). Main axle particularly weak, and once assembled, not guaranteed to actually work. Instructions don't even indicate type of fuel recommended.

Skip this one...it's not worth it no matter the price.
Assembly via Chinese script and poor diagrams actually was not unexpected or even that bad, it's not really what you call complex. Easily assembled in just about 20 mins.Unfortunately I can only assume that the machining on the cylinders was just awful because it blew all the water in about 10 seconds of running. It leaked from both cylinders profusely. I didn't expect much but I expected more than I ended up getting. Was hoping for a fun science experiment with the kids and ended up with a lecture on reigning in expectations.

Good if you have access to a machine shop to redo all parts
Large flywheel not perfectly cast, set screw to hold flywheel has no position to fit through on brass collar requiring only bending if collar to dryer flywheel which doesn’t secure well at all. Fuel tank is a danger, glass lamp would perform better. Plastic tube for locking arms in place is a joke. Bushings where users wear are needed to operate with less friction.

Simple but worth it!
I bought this for my husband and son to do together. I liked how they were able to construct it. It’s very simple but it allowed our son to understand how it works. Very cool!!
