Much smaller than I imagined. Had I read the entire description, I would have seen that. I will find a use for them. Just not what I originally did. Quality product.

Not a woodworker. Just need a clamp for a special project.I need to mount clamp on a table and clamp a 1/4" high object on the table (clamp base as same elevation as object base).I was surprised to learn that these clamps are most often mounted on a block that is secured and intended to clamp an object that has maximum height BELOW the clamp mount base.There is a picture that shows that this clamp can be adjusted to provide some finite vertical clearance ABOVE the clamp based. Not true. There is ZERO vertical clearance above the mount base elevation. The most you can clamp is a sheet of paper.They discuss many dimensions, but seem to omit the "Max Vertical Clearance." Oh well. Great price, and goes into the "use in future" bin.

I gotta admit that I was in a hurry when I ordered these. I just happened to see them and being the avid woodworker that I am, I said to myself, "six fiddy for 4 toggle clamps? Count me in!" I felt a little deceived when they first arrived but it was my fault for not reading the description. I see people give 1 or 2 stars all the time because something is bigger or smaller than they thought when they just didn't bother to read the description that was right in front of them, and I always think, "What a maroon!" I'm sure I'll put these to good use sooner or later anyway and you still can't beat the price.

They are a LOT smaller than they look in the picture. Didn’t work for what I wanted to do
