An excellent historical document.

USA lies about Black History. Truth always prevails.

It is appalling that there was a need for this booklet in our history. Shame on us! I first considered it when I read Dr. Mackie Faye Hill's autobiography https://smile.amazon.com/Black-Army-Brat-Mackie-Faye/dp/1622174984?sa-no-redirect=1 Thumbing through this is like a time capsule. I also got a copy of the first green book that was published. The growth of the country in my lifetime is something.

I like this book very informative and what places you can go Back then

I bought this book to determine what places in Maryland were recommended as places to stay or eat (salons, car garages, rest stops, etc). This is not an original copy but a facsimile copy of the book. It has great information. This book was donated to our local historical society and will be used as a local display for the African American museum as well. Perfect for a true history lesson.

Just visited the green book exhibit and was glad to find the book online. I've heard so much about the book as a child, it's so nice to have it now!

This is the book was mention in the recent movie about a white man chauffering for a black man in the late era. The Green Book was for blacks and contained details of where they can eat, sleep, shop, etc. This book was only for blacks. I was overjoyed when I found on Amazon, wanted to see what and how it was written.
