Beat My Expectations! Hands Down!
Straight out of the box it looked simple. And in essence it was. It was messy so I do suggest using rubber gloves but the end result beat my expectations. After all the questionable reviews I assumed Id ultimately be disappointed but I wasn’t. I was pleasantly surprised. And no, after it cured over night for about 15 hrs it wasn’t tacky to the touch, it hasn’t rubbed off onto my clothes and it appears solid! Mind blown. And to boot it was a 5 inch tear in the seat of my leather car seats where my butt lands every morning. I knew it would need to be durable. Im a Realtor so Im in and out of my car constantly. This stuff is incredible. But you have to follow instructions and have to have some common sense. Its not rocket science.

Great product. Only one minor thing.
I love this product. Everything you need comes in the kit. It helped me restore my favorite pair boots that that I thought I was going to have to throw away after years of use. My problem was just that the finish was peeling off of the fabric backing. I used the compound in VERY THIN layers. Some spot only require one layer the worst layers require five. But as bad off as my boots looked when I started they look pretty good now and I think I might have used 1/3 of the black tube. The only issue I had with this kit is that the brush that comes with it is a plastic bristled brush, which for most cases would not be an issue. I’m my case though I really need a softer brush because the plastic bristles left a strange texture once the compound dried. I had to cover large visible areas with compound and disliked the texture the brush left. I was able to use rubbing alcohol to buff most of the odd texture out and honestly I might be being a bit ocd about it at this point.I would use again but would just buy a softer bristled brush.

Beautiful, Easy repair!
My 2003 T-Bird had some wear on the leather driver's seat from entry and exit. Rather than go to an upholstery shop, I did some research on Amazon and found Coconix Leather care/repair. Since the description indicated that, if it didn't work, it could be removed....so I tried it!At first I thought the directions were incomplete because they were so simple. Amazingly, it is that simple! My pictures indicate before and after only 1 coat. The total time at this point was less than 15 minutes! After it dried (about 2 hrs), I added another coat in five minutes. I let it dry for about 3 hours, tested to be sure it wouldn't rub off and it didn't!To say I am pleased is an understatement!

Effective
We have Brunswick billiard chairs with a thin layer of leather upholstery. It didn't take long for the surface to wear at the corner of the seat on one of the chairs. This product was applied in multiple thin layers over the course of several days and it produced a barely noticeable repair. While it is easy to apply with the provided spatula, I invariably got some of the black liquid on my fingers. So, have some rubbing alcohol amd paper towels handy. Since our repair was a superficial one, I didn't have to use the other included materials. Time will tell how long the repair will last. But, for now, I am very satisfied.

Does not work
I used needed to repair a rip in my car leather seat. This did not work to seal the tear and the stuff never really dried. After about a day and a half, it was still tacky and I covered with a dish towel- it left black marks all over the towel but glad it was not my pants. I ended up using Gorilla Glue black tape over the tare and the repair kit paint

Turned out great!
*** UPDATE *** the product did look nice, but after sitting on the furniture it rubbed off on my clothes and ruined them. I would not recommend using this on furniture. Not sure if we got a bad batch or what, but I wouldn't take the chance.---Turned out nicely. It will repair and cover light to heavy use . You will have to buff out the areas that you repaired. All my spots looked shiny and new but after buffing them out a little they blended in just fine.

A good fix
Bought this product to repair a tear in the arm of my leather chair. The directions were easy to follow. The repair was done with no problems. I did think it was a little shiny, but applying alcohol with a cotton ball to the area after it dried took some of the shine away. I would recommend this product for small leather repairs.
