Sleep - A Bedtime Ritual

Smells glorious and relaxing.

I first received a sample of this from a monthly beauty box that I order (Petit Vour). I sometimes have problems sleeping and used to take some melatonin pills to try and help, but didn't have that much luck. One night I remembered I had a sample and decided to try it out and see if I had any luck. I put two drops on the sheets that lay near my face (I sleep on my back and pull the sheets up to my neck when I sleep) and inhaled the aroma. Before I knew it, I was waking up fresh as a daisy. No waking in the middle of the night or tossing and turning for hours, like I was for weeks. I ran out of the sample and found something similar at Bath and Body Works. I bought a pillow spray and lotion and used it before bed. No luck. Thankfully their products were on clearance so I spent $11 total for both and they do smell nice so I can use them, but not for helping me sleep. I then decided to check Amazon for this product and was glad to find it available. I ordered and have been using it almost every night. When I use it I fall asleep quickly and stay asleep (soundly) through the night and wake the next morning feeling well rested. I would recommend this to anybody looking for help having a good night's sleep. It is a bit pricey, but it's worth it to me to get a good night sleep and not feel sleepy/grumpy/groggy the next morning and go to work tired and miserable. I will be buying again when I run out. While the bottle is small, it's a lot of product as you only need one to two drops on your pillow or sheets (the bottle has a nifty stopper that allows only a drop to be dispensed). I wouldn't be surprised if this lasted a year before needing to reorder, maybe even longer. I've attached photos of the bottle top and a pic of it next to a bottle of water for size reference.

She sold me some Essence de Vali Sleep, and I’ve been using it ever since. I’ve turned so many friends and family onto this. Smells amazing and knocks me out! Haha. I drop it on my kids’ pillows too and they fall right to sleep. Love it! A lifesaver!

I found a product that works.

I originally got a sample of this product in a gift bag at an event I attended back in 2011, and I have loved using it ever since. I like the smell and find that it does relax me. Since 2011, I have only had to buy 2 of the full-size products; that's how long it lasts. A drop on my pillowcase is good for a night. If you put 2-3 drops on your pillowcase, they should maintain their scent for 2 nights.

A worthwhile indulgence! I put a drop on either side of my pillow, and the aromatherapy helps me relax and drift to sleep!

Such a soft, relaxing aroma. I use a couple of drops on my pillow almost nightly.

I had high hopes for this, so maybe that is why I was disappointed. I always take forever to fall asleep and using this did not help me at all. I was hoping that if nothing else, just making an effort to focus and breathing and relaxing with this smell to remind me would have helped, but unfortunately it didn't.Pros:- The smell is very strong and long lasting. I could still get whiffs of it 24 hours after application- The smell itself is ok, not in love with it, but I don't mind smelling itCons:- Tiny bottle at an expensive price- Did not help me relax or sleep- At times it smelled kind of medicinal and bitter
