Adult Wrinkle Free Silicone Swim Cap for Drag Reduction and Hair Protection

I recently tried the TYR Adult Wrinkle-Free Swim Cap in silicone, and while it has some great features, I found it a bit uncomfortable. Here’s my experience: Pros: • Durable Material: The silicone material is sturdy and feels like it will last. It’s resistant to tears, and I don’t have to worry about it stretching out over time. • Wrinkle-Free Design: The cap does live up to its claim of being wrinkle-free, providing a smooth fit over the head. It feels secure and helps keep hair out of the way while swimming. • Good Water Protection: It does a decent job of keeping my hair dry and prevents water from getting inside the cap, which is great for long swims. Cons: • Too Tight & too small : The biggest issue I had with this swim cap is that it’s just too tight. It feels uncomfortable after wearing it for a while, especially around the forehead and the back of the head. Even though it’s supposed to be “easy,” the fit is too snug for comfort, and it leaves marks on my skin. • Not Ideal for Larger Heads: If you have a larger head or a lot of hair, this cap might be a bit too tight to be comfortable for extended use. It may work better for those with smaller head sizes. Overall: While the TYR Adult Wrinkle-Free Swim Cap is made from high-quality silicone and offers great functionality in terms of keeping hair dry and providing a secure fit, the tightness makes it less than ideal for comfort. It may work better for people with smaller heads or those who don’t mind a snug fit, but I personally found it too tight for long-term use.

protect the hair pretty well. A little hard to put on, but it is expected with all swim caps if you have longer hair. I have used mine several times and it is still in perfect condition.

It's soft and fits great, but ripped off on my nine yo in two weeks.. So.. you get what you're paying 4. It could last longer in gentle hands, and not under the sizzling Cali sun. I recommend using it in the indoor pool.

TOO TIGHT! Came back to verify I’d purchased an adult cap. Huge fan of TYR swimsuits but this cap does not work for me.

In 40+ years of swimming this is THE BEST RACING CAP I have ever had. My skull is oval any every other cap forms a wave of wrinkles on the top. No big deal training. With regular silicon caps I have a rooster comb on top at the end of every workout, not what I want in a race. Wear it for all distances from 50 yard sprints to 10K races and it has never come off. It fits snug on head so may not work well for anyone with long hair. Not a problem for me :) Have used for 3 years now. Works great.
