Works well only minor problem is the external cable is too short. My previous one had a much longer cable which wasn't visible from the window.

I wanted an indoor/outdoor temperature sensor for my campervan. This was very easy to setup and the clock feature keeps good time. It only uses one AAA battery so I do wonder how long it will need before replacing the battery. It also does not come with a battery, luckily I had some spare. I have installed the outdoor sensor as a temporary measure out of the side window. It is fitted on the end of a thin wire and I was able to close the window without damaging the sensor. I already have a separate indoor sensor and the displayed inside temperatures were within 0.1 C of each other. Last night the outside temperature went down to 3 C, cold indeed but without heating on inside my van was around 10C. The heating will go on tonight!
