This is an excellent product. It was recommended to us by neighbors (birders) who tried every solution imaginable, from plexiglass screening to netting and more. This was the only product they recommend.

Very effective - - watching squirrels try to get around it is very entertaining.But I have a wonderful suggestions on how to assemble the baffle with a lamp shade finial, rubber washer, and hook eye to keep water from leaking onto the bird feeder. My device connects to the chain provided by the manufacturer. See the picture.

Of the several bird feeders I have had over many years, this is hands-down my favorite. The people at Arundale are a pleasure to do business with, very supportive. WDBA.

Pricey but is the only effective deterrent I’ve found to keep squirrels from jumping onto my seed feeders. It’s also durable - mine have lasted an average of 10 years being outside 365 days a year whereas other squirrel shields have cracked or broken in a year or two. The design is helpful in keeping the feeder and seed from getting wet in the rain.

Nothing is 100%, but this baffle has been the most successful. I don’t use the chain, only the hook, so the feeders sit up under what I call the witches hat. Birds are not bothered by it. So far so good.

These were recommended to us by my sister to deter squirrels from our bird feeders. I had metal baffles on the feeder lines before and the squirrels were able to overcome them. We purchased these and replaced the metal ones with these only to see those pesky creatures overcome them as well. It wasn’t easy for them, but they did it! Finally, I hung the metal baffle higher above these baffles, making them go through a double-gauntlet to reach the food and that has worked perfectly.

This is my second baffle. It’s the only one that keeps the squirrels off my bird feeder. It’s expensive but worth it after going through cheaper ones that failed. Would recommend. Just make sure your feeder is high under the baffle touching the top of the baffle or just about touching it so the squirrels can’t tilt it and slide onto the feeder. Then you’ll be fine. My squirrels have given up

Finally! A solution to my squirrel problem. Having this baffle brings joy to my heart! The squirrels next door are so destructive. No longer at their mercy! Birds get the seed, squirrels can no longer access it!
