I've tried a few different flexible cutting mats in the past few years, and they are usually pretty thin and wear out because they easily get sliced up. These are thicker and sturdier but are still very flexible. I chop salad vegetables, bend the mats and slide vegetables into the bowl. The other thinner mats that I've had in the past sometimes retained a curved shape. These do not. So they are a perfect combination of sturdy yet flexible. They are BPA free as well. The colors are beautiful, I bought orange. They have a little hole at the top in case you want to hang them. Great cutting mats, great price.

These are great! Had 'em about a week now and have used one maybe a dozen times. I keep my knives sharp but have not had any problem either with inadvertently cutting through the plastic, nor having the cutting mat dull the edges. That's nice! The side that has seen most all of the action so far has a slight "cup" to it (bows in). But it's very, very slight and not a problem. It'll probably even out once I start cutting more on the other side. The size is PERFECT for most of my food-prep chores, like dicing an entire onion or half a head of cabbage. (I have smaller, more flexi, color-coded Dexas Grippmats. Yes, they are useful, but are more limited. I like the bigger, slightly stiffer Linden better.)These mats have a nice thickness and they flex just enough -- a nice U-shape -- to make it easier to dump ingredients into the pan. You can't roll it into a funnel or near funnel shape, but it's definitely lighter and more bendy (hence, more convenient) than a wooden cutting board. The light weight makes it easy to carry ingredients from counter to stove (and is one of the reasons that may have your reaching for this mat in your kitchen more often than the wooden ones.) They wash well and are easy to store. The black color and texture are wonderful! (I'm a photographer and graphic designer and cannot wait to shoot something on it!)I have several cutting boards of various sizes and materials. They all get used at various times for different kinds of food prep. I know this plastic one won't last as long as those made from hardwood or bamboo or 1/4" thick microban plastic, but that's okay. I'd be fine with spending another $10 each year or two to get a fresh pair of these.The second Linden I put to use in an unconventional way. Coincidentally, it's the perfect size for inside the very slim unpadded cordura, briefcase I carry in my computer/camera pack (fabulous fstop Tilopa BC) slipped between ICU (camera module) and laptop. The cutting mat supplies just the right stiffness and flex... and adds very little thickness. The bonus is it'll function as a ready cutting mat when I need to use my xacto knife for trimming an impromptu project.These good-quality, bendy flex cutting mats are quite handy in the kitchen. Even if you already have wooden cutting boards, you'll enjoy having these. If you're on a budget, getting your first cutting board or outfitting a small kitchen or apartment, these will make an excellent choice you'll use a lot. Highly recommended!

These cutting boards are very nice. Much thicker than I had imagined and that has lent them to a high level of quality, durability, and ease of use. I thought they were a little pricey when I bought them but now that I’ve used them I feel that they are worth every penny.

Thin enough to be flexible for dumping of food. Cleans easily in the dishwasher. Scars easily and does eventually split. This is our second set as one of our first set of two split after about two years. All things considered that's actually a good useful life consider we use these daily for chopping every meal. An ideal product would be a little bit more durable and more scar resistant but likely that would compromise flexibility though.

Sorry, can't comment on their use in the kitchen. But they are the perfect flexibility for mudflaps for my Subaru WRX STI. See, people pay over $100 to buy RallyArmor or RokBlokz mudflaps but you can make your own with these on the cheap.I needed mudflaps to protect the paint on my car from rocks when I started driving in Rallycross races. These cut very easily with scissors so that you can cut them to the right shape and they are the same height as RokBlokz mudflaps (but much more flexible which is preferable so that the mudflap gives, not the car's plastic clips, when you slide into some dirt). Couldn't find any other bendable cutting boards in black so I went with these. And if you want so bright crazy colors because you have bright crazy wheels (not me, but I know some Subaru guys love that stuff), they've quite a few color options.The only downside is that they are a little brittle when the temperature gets below freezing--cracked the bottom of one but simply cut them all an inch shorter and can still use it.UPDATE: I have now also tried the red ones as well. The sun will bleach the red to more of a pink eventually but they look sharp for a while and are cheap to replace. Black is definitely the way to go if you want them to last the longest.

I've ordered these twice; I've found they are unbeatable as placemats for my two cats. They literally rinse clean, no scrubbing required, even if the food has dried onto the mats. They air dry in minutes without water spots. And they seem to be very durable! I'm impressed, and so glad I found them.

This mat is thick and durable - but one turn thru the dishwasher makes it warp. It will no longer lay flat on the countertop. Not a good purchase.

I live in a group house with five people sharing one kitchen, so the tools that we use need to be durable enough to withstand often less-than-gentle treatment. In particular, though I far prefer thick bamboo cutting boards, my housemates kept gravitating to those really thin, transparent plastic boards. To save my knives, I finally tossed them and bought these instead. I couldn't be more pleased - I actually enjoy using them most of the time and they are great for transferring cut vegetables to pots on the stove.I gave them five stars because I think they deserve it within the product category of affordable, flexible cutting boards, although for my own use, I think of them as more like 4 stars, because I prefer ones with more heft and a little bit of a lift up off the counter, so that I can more easily chop at a rapid pace.

Fait très bien le travail, mais après un an et demi, les couteaux ont passé à travers à différents endroits. Donc, ce qu'on dit dans l'annonce est vrai, sauf qu'elle ne dure pas des années.

My roommates will destroy these so it's important to mention I will definitely buy them again.I like that they're flexible to load pieces into pots or scraps into garbage and they're a great size.I loooove the colour and applaud all vendors that are willing to challenge the norm.Bonus - when you're done - they're recyclable !!

Great product. quite firm which i really like

Very disappointed with these cutting boards. Bought them 6 months ago, never put in dishwasher, and always hand washed them and they have completely disinigeated. They are not worth purchase.

Cheap. Not like the European ones that are thicker and lie flat
