Good choice
Did some research before buying new tires for the season. Kendas were a good choice. Lighter than the Michelins I had been riding, narrow profile and very little rolling resistance. Noticeable difference. Can't speak for endurance yet, but so far, so good. Have about 100 miles on the tires. No problem at all mounting.

Nearly impossible to get on the rim
The bead of the tire seemed too small

Good Tire
Cool block letters on the sidewall. They seem to be solid and haven't worn strangely or faster than I would expect.

IMPO this tire hits a great balance between light weight
My 2nd set of Kaliente's. First set lasted very well and only had one flat. That was from a sharp metal scrap that would have punctured almost any light road tire. IMPO this tire hits a great balance between light weight, puncture resistance and supple feel. And it's low cost too compared to big name brands.

Predictable, durable tire great for training & racing
Very predictable cornering on various paved surfaces... In 24 years of riding/racing predictability of cornering in different conditions is by far the most important characteristic of bicycle tires IMO. The Kaliente is not only predictable, but rolls well and is quite durable so is great for both training and racing.

Best tire I know of
I have tens of thousands of miles on this tire brand. Got a couple of bad ones, but most have been stellar. More than 4,000 on a single boot is outstanding in my book. And it weighs less the 200g!

Thorn-Resistant Tire
This tire has fended off most thorns this Fall riding season. My other tire has been like a magnet and caused many tube-puncturing flats.I definately will buy another one of these Kenda road tires .
