Great Frets!
Jescar narrow/tall frets. Basically 6105 wire. Stainlees steel is so smooth compared to nickel frets. A big pain to work with though. Cutting off the tang on the ends of the wire is too damn hard for my aging hands, so get youself a small hacksaw and a vise. Cut them off and filed down smooth. Hammered them in and used some CA glue. Barely needed polishing but once they're leveled, crowned, dressed and polished up... wow... night and day difference! Never going back to nickel frets. Ever. Worth the hard work! Highly recommend this brand!Oh yeah, I installed these on a Squier Bullet Mustang that I'm customizing. The fret slots were the perfect size already, due to the fact that narrow tall frets were already installed. I Just changed the material is all.

Greatest and hardest fretwire ever!
Working with guitars for many years, I'm used to almost every brand of fretwire available. This steel fretwire has nice and easy to matchcolor, is easier to apply (yet it is harder to cut). It allows for more precise finishing, as it takes longer to contour and polish.Other brands, such as fender, make softer alloys, and the strings end up notching the frets. If you use this steel fretwire, it is theother way around, the strings get dented right above the frets, after you play for some weeks. These frets live longer, play nicer, and are firmer: The tangs are deep and anchor well in any kind of fretboard. It is perfect for refrets, because shallow tanged frets(like original gibson and dunlop) tend to seat loosely in refrets. Very nice product after all. And the gold version is equallygood.

Great frets but I’m confused.
These work great sound great no complaints. Only that they are a bit easier to file than I thought steel would be, I’m guessing it’s mixed alloy and not pure steel. Welp they work great so not complaining, and I’m kinda glad the leveling and crowning was not a hassle as I have read steel fret filing is a painstaking process.

Awesome wire.
Very nice, very happy with my refret. The extra work to upgrade to stainless was so worth it in the end.Used to refret a Washburn WCG20 acoustic.

Guitar Fret Wire - Jescar Stainless Steel Medium/Highest Gauge - Six Feet - from C. B. Guitty Crafter Supply
I'm a luthier for over than 20 years, and this fret wire is the best of the market. They are not so wide, so is easier to work than the stainless steal jumbo, not so difficult to cut and bend, the sound is a little bright, sound like a nickel silver jumbo fret wire, so its not a problem. Is a dream for bending techniques when you play guitar and the durability is amazing, people say more than 4 times, if comparable to nickel silver.

Not For Beginners
I got these to use on my first guitar re-fret and had a difficult time. The product it's self is of great quality. The problems lie in how hard the material is to work with, due to, well... hoe hard the material is. It's very difficult to bend, clip, file, seat, etc. The other issue I had with it is that the barbs seemed much smaller than the ones that came off my 80's strat.I installed the two highest frets and both had issues with the edges seating, even after pressing and clamping with glue. The material is very resistant to bending and has a hard time conforming to the fretboard radius, and the small barbs don't grab the wood very well.If you know something with smaller barbs will work, and are prepared to deal with the toughness of the material: these could work well for you. They didn't work well for me, and I'm going to try a silver-nickle fretwire.

Looks very nice
The stainless fret wire is very nice when the job is complete. Nice shine on it. Strings bend better and easier. It will less at least five time longer than the regular nickel wire. I use both the gold one and the stainless. I recommend these wires if you really want real sustain notes.
