My four year old and fourteen year old both thoroughly enjoyed painting the rocks in this kit. There are rocks of different sizes and beautiful, decent quality paint included. It even has sparkly paint. My fourteen year old painted the northern lights, a flying heart, and a star, all one different sized rocks. My four year old just painted, but was very happy doing so. The paint dries fairly quickly, isn’t tacky or sticky, and fades just a bit. The number and quality of paints, as well as the number and size of rocks make this a good value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate to either buy this as a gift or as an activity at a party. Highly recommend!

We bought these to paint in memoriam of my partner’s daughter. We painted the rocks with my children and laid them in places that were important to her daughter’s life for people to pick up and take home with them. It was a great activity for the kids. They painted things that were special to them and it helped them connect with their passed away stepsister. The materials were easy to use, moderately hard to clean up, but definitely child safe. I will say that about a quarter of the rocks were unusable for the intended purpose. These were not smooth round river rocks like you’d think, just rocks that were thrown together in a bag in the hopes there would be a paintable surface. So not exactly like the picture. Still, we enjoyed the set.

What a great substitute for boiling and dying eggs! We write inspiring messages on the stones and hide them around town. The paint takes awhile to dry, so I just used all purpose acrylic markers first. Great for the kids and the grandparents.

I got this for a great deal during prime days! It’s a great little art set and it’s great for the rock lovers in your family. I do recommend having extra paints on hand. My daughter gets a little carried away and doesn’t leave enough paint for all the rocks. Another thing to be aware of is that the seller doesn’t put the box in a shipping box. It is sent it as is... my daughter was with me when I got the mail and it almost ruined her surprise. Thank god for sneaky mom skills!

I have ordered a few times. my kids love painting and decorating the rocks and leaving them at a park for others to enjoy. great craft to do with your kids. highly recommend and will be purchasing again.

Such a fun kit. So many rocks and paint colors. Fun for hours. It is messy so I recommend painting on a large piece of paper or tray bc these aren't washable.
