For a 6-year-old’s birthday. Pleased to report they were the star gift among so many others. Great variety and tons of fun!

Amazing detail. It came with all 12 pieces, and they are made out of high-quality plastic and rubber. This is the first Wild Republic tube I have ordered. These are even better than Safari Ltd. Perfect for someone who likes amphibians or frogs.

Fun for kids

I bought these frogs for my great nephew that is 3 years old. He loves them and they were reasonably priced.

They don't all match. The paint job is scratched on one, one of the yellow and black ones is bent and warped, and the paint jobs don't match on one pair. Overall I'm fairly satisfied though.

My grandson is all about frogs--spent last summer catching and releasing frogs and toads of every kind. You never saw that boy without his bucket of frogs wandering by the creek or exploring the woods. When his 6th birthday came about this spring, I did frog-theme gifts: frog mud boots, frog t-shirt and this package of frogs. The thing I like about them is that they're bigger than most of the toys frogs I saw and each one is different. Some are toads and some are frogs. I think these ended up being his favorite birthday gift of all that he received. Really nice quality.

Our son had several months where he was obsessed with frogs and their life cycle, so this was a huge hit. I made a cake for his birthday and put a vine made of frosting on it, and added a few of the tree frogs from this set onto the vines. It has been months, and they're still frequently played with. All of these frogs are different. Each one is made to replicate an actual species of frog. Many sets that I looked at were just the same frog shaped painted differently. My son would know the difference. The most popular one in the set is made so that you hold it around the legs like you would a real frog. It looks realistic enough that a family member thought it was real!

Classic, imagination-stirring, educational toys are the class these are in...they are wonderful for playing with at home, taking in the car, or when going places with parents where you have to wait. They can be washed and disinfected; the real frog look-alikes can be researched and learned about....and that leads to even more learning like where they live, what they eat, and who might eat them...even how their poison (for some) might be used! The set is a great addition to what should be a ever growing container of plastic animals...and the more realistic the better!
