A must for frequent travelers who like to work on planes. Don't understand how people work on planes exposing incredibly private and confidential information to totally random people. This is a great solution, see pictures of the same screen from the front and the side. Fits perfectly on the screen, you can barely see the stickers holding on the screen and for the price is a huge deal!

I gave it 5 stars because it does exactly what I need it to. Yes, it does dim the screen a bit but that is unavoidable with this kind of materials tech, and while I would not try to do production color editing on it with the screen in place, it DOES very effectively block views from an angle. I am not sure it would fully do the job for someone sitting next to you on a plane, but I just use it because my job sometimes has me looking at data that is not for general public consumption and it stops that from being exposed pretty effectively. I use the clear tab mounting so I can remove it if I want to, and yes you can see them - fully invisible materials are not a thing yet :) but I find that I don't even notice either the tabs or the notch after using it for 3 days. BTW it looks like garbage because of my poor phone camera... IRL it looks a bit better. Also - the marked lines represent a 60 degree arc so you can see it ALMOST darkens the whole screen at that angle but if you go even a tiny bit further than I did in the video it looks like the screen is off.

It has good anti-glare functionality as it described. People sitting next to you in a meeting can't perceive contents on your screen. In addition, it doesn't reduce much brightness, which is better than the other anti-glare protectors I used.

I have Flex 5 (no edges), so this is a perfect fit.We first got another product from Akamai, which was for screens with edges and it didn't fit. Akamai contacted us first how we like the other product, and when I raised a concern on how the tabs didn't quite work due to no edges, they told me about this product. I didn't even know they carried one specific for all glass screen. They offered to return the other product so I could get this one.This screen filter just sticks on perfectly & smoothly, like a magnet sheet. It also is an easy off. I don't think I will need to take it off, but if I ever do, I know it'll just come off easy.It kind of feels like those screen protectors for smart phones, but it goes on much smoother (no bubbles) and goes off easy (not having to worry about damaging the filter).As far as privacy is concerned, it does what it should do. You have to be sitting right in front of it in order to see your screen.I would give 10 stars for the quality of the product & Akamai's customer service.

Love this privacy screen. It's good quality and has been working great for me all week.When sitting in close quarters (side by side on an airplane, for instance), the person next to you can see about half the screen. For optimal privacy, you should turn the brightness of your screen down until you can't see it, then back up one notch. This will ensure supreme security. They will be able to see vague outlines, but will be unable to read anything.I love this screen for the ease of use. I used the tabs to fasten, which makes it very easy - when I don't want to use it, I can slide it out no problem, and slide it back in when I do want it. Takes about two seconds! The tabs are clear, so I barely notice them. I also appreciate that it came with two sets of tabs - my hand slipped and I misapplied one of them, but they had sent a backup set so I could just use a new one! Little convenience things like that make me appreciate the company more.Definitely would buy from this seller and purchase this product again.

Great privacy screen for your computer. I have a touch screen laptop and was a little hesitant about getting it. But it still works great and keeps snooping eyes off of the screen. Perfect

I travel a lot and wanted something that would help block the view of others to see my laptop screen especially on a plane. It works perfectly! I installed it so that I can slide the screen on and off which is helpful when I DO want someone to see my screen.

This matched my screen perfect. Good choice and keeps snoopers away!!

This does reduce visibiltiy of the screen from side angles (although not fully, makes it darker by around 80%), but in doing so it adds a sort of television netting affect on the screen, more or less visible depending on what you're doing/watching.The most annoying thing about this item however is the stickers they give you to attach it to the screen. I used the permanent fixtures, thinking they would be less noticeable - but they are huge, much bigger than necessary, and are very noticeable in each corner of the screen. I'm going to try removing it and reattaching with the stickers cut down in size later. I think some types of sellotape would even do a better job in being less visible.The privacy screen also significantly reduces the brightness of the screen, however I expected this, so no complaints on that front.On the positive side, the fitment/size was absolutely perfect.I wouldn't buy this again, but since I have it I'll try and figure out a way of making it less ugly.

I brought this protector to use as I travel a lot and wanted to keep my work confidential to neighbours.The screen fits very nicely in terms of adhesion to the Windows Surface Laptop 3 which I own and also does not dull the screen too much when looking head on.However the bezel on the protector is a lot smaller than my screen meaning the top of my screen is slightly cut off. Considering the protector is for a laptop that is 13.5" and I have a 13" screen you would expect this to be sufficient but it is not.

I bought this not to have my classmates seeing what I'm doing during lectures. Truth is it works in a too wide rage; it should be 45 degrees or less. You need to be literally next to someone for this to work because if you are diagonal or anywhere in front of them, they can still see.It also decreased brightness but other than that I forget I have it because it blend in perfectly. There are 2 ways to install it and I chose the one with little stickers on the side so that if I change my computer and the new one has the same screen size I can re-use it. They even give you extra stickers, I'm guessing for that reason.This product isn't what I expected and is far from perfect but it does what it promises to do outside the 60 degrees.

Excellent, does the job very well and reduces eye strain. Make sure you check your screen's actual measurements before ordering and don’t make my mistake to assume that every 15.6” screen laptop has the same dimensions! I reordered this one for my Dell 15.6” - the seller helpfully gives all the exact measurements - this one fits perfectly.

Delivered very quickly and does exactly what I wanted. The viewing angle is perhaps a little wider than I might like but I think that is the case with most of these screens. If someone comes up behind you they will be able to see the screen (although it is darker than normal), but it completely hides it from people next to you, which is the main point. I can now work on the train and client offices knowing that confidential information on screen is not visible to one and all.

Have been looking for a suitable privacy screen forever! This screen ticks all the boxes. Simple, easy to follow instructions, and it does exactly what it says on the tin! Well worth the money and, with a lifetime guarantee, what's not to like?!

This is perfect for laptop privacy for train travel with complete privacy from side view. Enclosed in my order were some double sided sticky labels which i used two for both top corners of the privacy screen to keep it attached to my laptop and it is strong enough to hold it in place too and you can also easily remove and replace the screen when needed. Would definitely recommend this product.

Using a Surface Pro meant i needed something that worked with a totally flat screen. This came with little sticky pads which work well. Its also comes with the alternate fittings for a traditional laptop screen - these enable the cover to be slid in and out which isnt possible on a tablet style fitting.

I can't really fault this, does exactly what it's supposed to, secures your screen from being viewed in public and also useful to reduce brightness substantially if you need to use your laptop at night in a shared bed and your partner is sensitive to light. It's much less expensive than some of the other options I've seen and I can't imagine what others could offer that this one doesn't.

Perfect fit for my Dell Inspiron 7270. It arrived quickly and was very simple to install (clear adhesive plastic tabs), I love the option to remove it as needed (rather than sticking it on more permanently). I've always been pleased with Akamai products and this is no exception.

Worked as described. I bought this for a few client and they said they are happy with the effect of this. One of them said he felt the angle is a bit narrower than he saw in other product, but he is generally happy with it.

Does exactly what I needed, hides my laptop screen effectively. It comes with a load of connector stickers but I only needed 3 little ones, 2 at the side and one at the bottom. Fits my screen perfectly and gives me the privacy. Its a strong material compared to others I have seen, and is more effective.

Really good - I'm reluctant to take it off as it seems a bit of a faff, but it works well and isn't too dull fits perfectly and was easy to adhere

This works really well - I bought it for my wife on her work laptop and everytime she says "hey, look at this" I just can't see it unless I'm absolutely face onto it

The screen size was a bit too wide for the laptop but nothing a pair of scissors could not fix. The screen itself works very well and have experimented with sitting on a chair to side of the open laptop , I could barely make out open word document and outlook.Though if l had the screen on highest bright setting and with a presentation open I could make out the headline words closest to me. The screen is quite sturdy and very easy to fix to the laptop.
