These looked a little better than my Bruno's because they had the dark outliner on the entire shoe stitching not just the toe area. They arrived in a destroyed used box, but the shoes seemed new, I had to return them because they also run 1 full size to big. Also my Bruno Marks come in wide sizes & half sizes, the La Milano's only offered in reg sizes, no wide or double wide. I liked the looks of these better with the burnt look on all stitching but finally went with the Bruno's due to available wide sizes. All leather as well as the Bruno's ,Very well made, look great

When this pair of shoes arrived, I was immediately impressed when I opened the box. The design, material, color, and quality are very good. After I tried them on, they fitted very well, and they wear as comfortably as a pair of shoes should. I would definitely recommend this.

These are my first double monks. I wanted to try one at an entry level price to see if I would like the style. I was also very curious about buying a highly rated shoe for $60. I’m not going to compare this shoe to $150 and $300 dress shoes. These are in the $60 category of quality and build but I think these shoes are really good for $60. Here are my observations and thoughts. Style: La Milano has hit the mark in making a great looking double monk strap shoe. They do turn heads. The double strap is considered more casual than the single strap version. I’ve worn my black double monks for work in business casual Chinos, a black suit for a wedding, and with a navy blue suit without a tie. A+ on style! Fit: I normally wear a size 9 in shoes and sometimes need a 9 wide for dress shoes. These shoes taper fashionably at the toes which is the reason I bought a 9.5. They fit well half a size larger and make my feet look longer in my suit. I recommend getting half a size larger for more comfort. Comfort: These are not made for walking around. They are fine walking around the office if you spend most of the day at your desk. I spent about three hours walking around town and at IKEA yesterday, and they made my feet hurt both in the sole area and in the side. They say there is cushioning but its not sufficient for substantial walking around. Stick to wearing these when standing around most of the time like at work or at a wedding but not around town. Quality: They look good on the exterior. They turn heads in a good way. When I received the shoe, I could tell that I bought a $60 shoe. The leather is suitable at this price. The finish was less than perfect. There was a mispunched hole in one shoe and an unfinished edge of the tongue in the other shoe. No one else can see these and that’s good enough for a $60 shoe. Overall, it’s a really worthy shoe to consider at $60. It’s a great shoe for a teenager who needs a shoe for Homecoming or Prom.

When I was looking for a shoe for my wedding (admittedly a bit last minute), I really got into the idea of double monk straps. The look is really sharp and not something I’d had before. I considered splurging for some really nice brand due to the occasion, but they required more lead time and honestly I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars. Realistically I may never wear these shoes again. I found this pair to have the exact look I was going for at minimal cost. They fit as expected. Were comfortable enough for me to be in the dancing the entire night - I even had my vans on deck to change into but never felt the need. They looked amazing in all the photos. Haven’t wore them since so I can’t speak to longevity. Regardless, I was super happy with the decision.

DURABLE. I've had these shoes for years and they're still going. Easy to slip on and they're true to size. I've worn them several times and always get compliments. As they age, the straps are starting to disintegrate but that's expected with wear and tear.

Happy with these leather double monks. So far quality seems good, and the colour is amazing. Stiff at first, but if you use lots of Dubbin to help soften the back and break them in, they become fairly comfy.
