I have a 07 Wrangler X that desperately needed a new top. I am not the most handy person, but the directions were helpful and easy to read. I was a little bit surprised that the front of the factory top and the replacement top called for the use of masking tape on the very front of the top before you started replacing screws. From start to finish I did this job solo in under two hours. Very snug fit and the tinted windows really give it a nice pop. As others have written and I assume with any soft top, the hotter it is outside the easier it is to maneuver.

It wasn't too bad to install. I did it by myself and maybe took little over hour. The paper directions were a bit confusing but I found a video online and was able to install without any issues. Like other people the back window was the hardest to zipper,but my error was not positioning the back flaps correctly, I had them spread too far out. Overall, it was easy to install on 70 degree day, probably would have been easier if it was warmer out. Love the tinted windows, so clear and easy to see out of, my originals were clear with so many scratches. Still noisy when I drive, but like others say, it's a Jeep and it's a 2008! I had a leak at driver's side door with old top, hasn't rained yet so I'm not sure if this solved the issue. Nice top for the price.

Absolutely love my new top for my 2008. Love the tinting on the windows. Fits like a glove. The only reason I gave this 4 stars and almost gave it 3 was I’ve gotten no customer service. Advertised as having upper door skins included. NOT! I see that another customer also had this issue. Have called 3 times on 3 days and been on hold for over 20 minutes each day with no one answering. Ended up ordering from Mopar and paying a significant amount. PLEASE PLEASE change your listing. I’m not returning the item but would like some resolution to the advertising.

After 2 hours of war with this top, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not cut correctly for my 2008 Jeep Wrangler 2 dr. I’m not a person to complain and rant but this was a lot of work and I want warn others with this same Jeep to know my experience. I tried to connect to the back bar and it caused my header in the front to lift and therefore causing a water leak across the dash. It looks good from the front but the back tells you it’s not working. Perhaps Smittybilt has a solution. I’m not expecting this to be Mopar OEM quality but I would expect it to fit. If they had only cut this with an extra inch of fabric, it would work perfect. I may return this once I recover from putting it on. I’m just not happy with this purchase…Please note that I let the top sit in the sun at about 80 degrees for 4 hours before the install.

I got this to replace my 10 year old stock soft top. The install took about an hour and a half doing it by myself. I let it sit in the sun to soften up and it went together great. The zippers on the windows were still pretty tight even after letting it soften up but I think that’s because the limiting straps on my frame are gone. Even though the zippers tight they still close up all the way. All in all I’m super happy with the top for the price.

This is a great top for the price! Material is a bit thinner than factory top which is not bad and it fits nice and tight and looks great no leaks and keeps the heat inside in the winter time and does not sag I would definitely recommend this top if you are on a budget and need a new jeep top. Top of the line! The tinted windows are really nice also. I would definitely recomend putting this on in the warm weather that way it softens up a bit.

Instructions are very clear but definitely need two people to install. Did it in about two hours and it looked nice. The back window didn’t give me too much trouble as others mentioned but the back seams on either side do seem to have pin sized holes so it’s not entirely waterproof. Overall it fit my 2008 JK with no issue.

Very nice product. It was a pain to install, but after that no problems. We have had it on since May and it is holding up as good as oem. We take the top off a few times a month. There are really no issues what so ever with this product. The material is a little lighter then oem but so close you would never know it was aftermarket. We are loving the tinted back windows, the oem were clear. I am the “guy” that wants good quality cheap and look for a week online before buying for the best deal and quality. Every group of friends has one of me.
