DennerleNano Gravel, Borneo brown

I've tried a variety of gravels and soil for the home aquarium but this is by far the best, not only is it completely natural meaning there is no dye emitted from this gravel but it is so beautiful that it sparkles under the light. The other bonus is that this gravel does not trap dirt as it is so fine the debri accumulates on the surface making it a sinch to clean. It lays beautifully smooth and when you need to position items and move the gravel in your tank there is no cloudiness like it would be with soil. 10/10

Having had lots of trouble with other brands of Aquarium sand that add total dissolved solids (TDS) to the water, this one doesn't. It really is one of the better ones for shrimp, and my cherry shrimp love it. Its a nice colour and my red shrimp stand out well. It is expensive for what you get 2KG bag, but its worth it I feel, just to keep your shrimp safe.

Lovely looking gravelIn a tank

I've gone for the Borneo Brown which appears to me to be almost the same colour as instant coffee. The gravel is fine grained, smooth and very hard, almost like ceramic beads. Out of habit I rinsed it before adding it to the tank but there was absolutely no residue and the water ran clear immediately, so after being layered inside my aquarium there was no clouding of the water. Whilst it sinks and isn't as easily disturbed as sand or aquarium soils, you may find that a small amount will initially float when water is first added. This appears to be because of air bubbles forming and attaching to the grains on the top layer - if you touch these floating grains they will sink immediately - it's something to bear in mind before you start filtration.

Bit on the expensive side. Had this just over a month and shrimps lice it as it really shows of there colours and is small enough so they can move little bits around. Easy to wash and didn't leave my tank cloudy like alot of stuff we have used in the past

Bought this product 6 months ago, as of now it is doing great. It looks great and brings out the colour of my Cherry Shrimp. I had 1 bag in my 28l tank, and probably needed another bag due to adding live plants.

Nice and fine gravel. Easy for shrimps to pick up and turn around. Did not cloud my water at all, it went straight from the bag into my shrimp tank. Very good product. Well it is German after all.

Ich habe den Kies für mein 15 Liter Aufzuchtaquarium gekauft. Ich bin super zufrieden. Der Kies ist perfekt für gründelnde Fische, da er fein und abgerundet ist. Die Pflanzen halten super und können gut wurzeln. Einfach ohne auswaschen ins Aquarium schütten fertig. Für große Aquarien wäre er leider viel zu teuer.

2段式水槽台の下段に置いた水槽に敷いてみましたが比重が重いのでそこまで吸い上げられずにザクザク水換えが可能になりましたもちろん下段なので水を吸うスピードは遅くなりますが細かめの砂なのにザクザクできるのは嬉しい2キロで60規格なら厚みも1cm程度になるのでコリドラスにも丁度良い感じです

想像通りのカラー入れてすぐは浮く砂が少しありますが、時間が経つと沈みます。
