Closer to Grey
I bought this for a chess board cake I was making. Unfortunately no matter how much I used, it would not turn the buttercream black. The closest I could get was dark grey. I have other colours in this brand and they are all very good.

Perfect range of colours
Great value item. Bought for the classroom, to add to play dough, sensory stuff etc lovely vibrant colours and was easy to use.

Not for Buttercream
I wanted to make brilliant black buttercream. Found this product reqd the reviews and it says it the best product. Well it isnt, did not get my buttercream black, just standard grey! Not want I wanted and complete waste of money.The other thing is that the ingredients/ warning all in German.
