Winter was long and cold. The electric heat was dehydrating. As soon as I got it I slathered it all over. My skin was grateful for the attention. That was five days ago. The dryness is still gone, they are still smooth, and they are still soft. The same with my arms. And luckily, my face is tolerant of coconut oil as well. My hair looks fantastic too! I'm very pleased with the results all over my body. This is my new go-to healing balmI made an omelet with it last night with a little of it. The omelet was delicious. AND, most surprisingly, it was the first time I was EVER able to flip a three egg omelet completely over (just experimenting) AND then slide it right out of and utter clean stainless steel pan!!! I'm completely amazed.I made popcorn with it the last night, following the standard recipe on the bag of 1/3 cup corn popped in 3 Tablespoons of oil. It turned out a lot on the greasy side.So I took to the internet . I had to do a little math to reach 1/3 (I was in a sweat. Math is not my forte) Last night my teenage niece and I tried 1/3 c. of popcorn to only 1 T of coconut oil to achieve PERFECT popped corn that was not in the last bit greasy.Hey, I'm happy all the way around. If there is a better product, what is it?

I am so glad that I bought this product at its current price since it is definitely worth the while! Previous to buying this coconut oil, I often bought refined, expeller-pressed coconut oil, which did the job for my hair (African American 4A/4B hair), but I wanted to try the pure, unrefined version of the product, and let me tell you, this has done wonders for my hair. Usually, when I have braids, I have a difficult time maintaining the softness and length of not only the braided hair, but the new growth as well. With Nutrigold pure coconut oil, I am able to obtain about 3/4 of an inch of new growth, while obtaining the softness of baby hair! It's amazing what wonders it can do! I also use it for dry areas on my skin to maintain moisture. I would definitely recommend this product. Also, it's arrival is speedy and without delay.

I actually use this as a makeup remover. By taking a small, small amount (less than the size of my finger tip), I gently rub it around my eyes until I feel that there is no makeup left. Then, I take a cotton round and wipe it off. I've never used a product that took makeup off like this. Using this there is absolutely NO trace of makeup left. Also works as a moisturizer for people with dry skin. For those with oily skin this will just intensify the oily look. Still good to use at night though when it doesn't matter what your face looks like. It repairs the skin and leave you feeling absolutely moisturized in the morning even after washing your face.

This is excellent quality! I use it on my skin, it absorbs completely leaving skin soft with a very light coconut smell. I use it on my hair as a conditioner, it leaves my hair super soft but not oily! I put it in my coffee, it melts and leaves a wonderful coconut taste, I have read of all the health benefits of coconut oil and also take coconut capsules, I feel as if it has helped with my IBS with constipation! I reviewed many other brands and decided to try this one, I'm glad I did, the price was excellent and the quality A+, it also came with a free sample of omega3, it came very fast. I will buy this again!

I've been using this on my skin and scalp. I haven't cooked with it yet. I also bought a jar to start putting on my dogs' food - I have been using olive oil - but I think this will be better for their skin. Will update once I start doing that.PROS: soaks right into skin without feeling greasy, has the slightest hint of coconut which I'm glad about because I don't want to smell like coconut, organic, no unwanted ingredients.CONS: pretty much a solid, rather than a liquid, which makes it a little difficult to use but to me that is a minor issue.

I use this as a hair deep conditioner. I saturate my dry hair with it, then put a shower cap on and let it sit for as long as possible. The other day I did it before I went swimming and it really protected my hair. After a few hours, rinse with water, I then shampoo and use a diluted mix of Dr. Braggs Apple cider vinegar ( 1/2 cup vinegar to 2 cups water) to further rinse my hair. After that I use my conditioner. Since doing this, my hair is in phenomenal shape. To disclose, I have thick coarse hair that absorbs moisture quickly!

For what I am using this for it works great. I use this for my hair and skin. For me compared with Barleans Coconut oil, the Barleans has a better flavor for cooking and taking by mouth. Don't know if I just got a older batch but the NutriGold is a little crumbled. But this not interfering with the effects it has on my hair and skin. I just use the Barleans for internal use because of the flavor and smoothness.

I use coconut oil for pulling. I have used a cheaper brand which did not work for me. However, this brand definitely does the job. My teeth are tartar-free since using the Nutrigold brand. It has a lovely light coconut taste. I had read another review that this brand tasted rancid. I did NOT notice any foul flavor at all. I will be buying this brand as long as they sell it. It is not the cheapest brand, but it is worth the extra money it cost to get a brand that keeps my teeth clean.
