Great funcide for specific lawn fungus problems.
Because of all the rain in South Florida, my St. Augustine grass developed a fungus. The Univ. ofFlorida diagnosed a specific fungus & recommended Heritage G. In 2017 the same problem occurred& Heritage G remedied the problem. So now I'm waiting to see if Heritage G again works its miracle& kills the fungus.

Saved our lawn!
We were so glad there was a way to address our dead spots in new sod. It sadly got a fungus. This was recommended by the experts. The dead spots cleared up after two applications. We waited a little long to reapply because it all was so green for over two months. We learned our lesson and will need to reapply over and over.

Scotts' DiseaseEx same and cheaper!
Scotts' DiseaseEx and Heritage G use the same fungicide, azoxystrobin, and contain the same conc. --so they treat the same area of lawn-- but Scotts cost $16 and Heritage G $50 (incl tax).By the way, if you need to use a different fungicide [to prevent fungus resistance], then try BioAdvanced 701230A Fungus Control, which uses propiconazole and costs $17.Some sites recommend alternating between using propiconazole and azoxystrobin if you need to treat more than once to prevent resistance. This is cheaper than using another product, Headway G (not to be confused with Heritage G -- why can't this company come up with names that don't sound similar!!!) as Headway contains both azoxystrobin and propiconazole but costs $80.

If applied correctly - twice (14-21 days apart)
Got to follow the directions. Gets rid of brown patches that impact almost every yard in Houston, TX. Will have to apply 2-3 times a year. Each application, after 14-21 days, apply again. Otherwise you will have wasted your money on the first bag. Expensive but it works if done correctly.

Far superior to Scotts
Easy to apply, its tenfold more efficient and effective than Scotts. Definitely worth the extra money.
