LCD Display +Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly for iPhone 5C Black +Tools

This was my second attempt to replace the screen. The first screen did not work. The second one did the job right !

Fixed!!!! DON'T USE AMAZON TRADE-IN!!!!!I know it seems unrelated, but the only reason I had to buy this screen was because the shady characters at Amazon Trade-In (likely some 3rd party, not Amazon itself) ripped the cable clean off the front screen of my iPhone 5c when I sent it back.This is a perfect replacement, delicate work, but fairly easy. There are a ton of teardown videos online that show you how to do it. These tools were ok, I had another, better set, but these will do the job. Get a clean surface with nothing around and little cups or dishes for the teeny tiny screws that are in this phone. Keep things organized and take your time, you'll have a fixed phone in no time. Very pleased.

This is the second screen I have had to buy for my phone, the first one was a few months ago and it was over twice the price so I'm not sure why they've gone down so much but I'm happy. I found a youtube video to watch to learn how to replace it (and had my boyfriend help) and both times it has gone very smoothly. I was worried after I saw how cheap this screen was, and was hoping they've just gone down in price because of the new iphone 7 coming out and the fact that less and less people are using these phones - especially after they break- and I think that is true. As far as I can tell the screen has no issues and is working completely smoothly now. hopefully I will never have to replace a phone screen again but if I did I would buy another from here.

To start, the screen replacement feels really cheap. The screen feels less like glass and more like plastic.After taking the old, damaged screen off, I tried replacing it with the new one that I was sent. Right away I could tell that the tolerance used to machine this was off from the original iPhone. There were a few spots where the screw holes did not line up and I could not get a screw through no matter how hard I tried.The home button is now loose because of the new screen allowing the screws to rest further back then they should be. So now when you push the home button it doesn't always connect with the sensor. I can literally spin the home button while the phone is assembled.After replacing the screen with the new one and powering it back on, the screen was not responsive to touch. Other users have complained about this issue as well. I removed the screen to make sure I had everything plugged in correctly. After removing the screen and putting it back together for the third time, it was finally responsive.Right away I could notice that the color is really off. It doesn't match the original color or picture at all. The edges of the screen have a weird hue to them, almost like an old tv monitor. The picture quality of this "LCD" display is really off.The screen itself does not sit flat and seems to be bowed in the middle so the sides come up past the casing. I can push down on the left and right of the screen sides and feel it bend back and forth.I suppose that's what you get for a $19 screen replacement. Either shop else where or take it to a shop to repair your screen.Edit: After a week with this replacement there are some notable issues. About two days in the screen started giving me issues. Every hour the screen is completely unresponsive to touch or completely erratic in behavior. So it either won't let me do anything or it does whatever it wants, opens apps, closes apps, randomly types etc. Also there is now a huge drain on my battery which I can only imagine is from the screen replacement. Save your money and go somewhere else.

It is a little tricky to install. Not a big deal but when I put it together the touch screen did not work properly. It turns out I did not connect the ribbons properly. So that is on me. The cameras have small plastic pieces that need to be broken out of your original screen and super glued into this one. I HATE super glue. It would have been nice if they had added the tiny plastic camera locators so I would not need to open a tube of super glue for half a drop of glue. In the end it was a fun project and my daughter is amazed that I could take her phone apart. It is all back together and working as it should. I probably should give it 5 stars but I will leave the 5th star for the version that does not need super glue. The tool kit worked fine and the project takes about an hour or so, not counting the super glue drying time. :(

My 1 1/2 year old cracked my screen off of the counter in my kitchen, so I needed to get it fixed. I thought that after doing some research that it would be easy for me to replace the screen myself. So, after reading a bunch of reviews I went with this one. I am so glad that I did, it came really quickly. The screen was packaged really well so that there wasn't the chance that something would happen to it. The tools were all together. Even before it came I received an email that had a link for a YouTube video taking me step by step through changing the screen out.I get the screen in the mail, sit down at my table with my laptop and go through the steps of changing it out, which if you follow the directions is really simple. It took me about 30 minutes and I paused the video a few times and went back a few times. Once all was said and done it looks and works amazing. It cost me about half as much as it would if I were to have someone else do it. Would definitely do this again.

El servicio, como siempre, fue rápido por parte de Amazon Estados Unidos. Me llegó el paquete completo, o sea la pantalla y las herramientas tal cual se muestran en la imagen del producto. Si a alguien no le llegan las herramientas ha de ser cuestión de mala suerte, ya que yo he hecho unas 30 compras en Amazon y siempre me llegan bien.La calidad de la pantalla es muy buena, se ve idéntico a la pantalla original. Apenas llevo un par de días probándolo y ha funcionado bien. Con el tiempo actualizaré mi opinión de ser necesario.Recomiendo esta pantalla para cualquiera que necesite reponer la pantalla de su iPhone 5c ya que te ahorras un 60% comparado con pagarle a alguien para que te venda y cambie la pantalla (en mi ciudad hacen ese servicio como por $900). Incluso te ahorras un un 40% si compras la pantalla y pides a algún experto que te la repare ya que, por la cantidad de herramientas que incluye, parece es un trabajo no tan fácil para alguien con manitas torpes como yo ja ja.

I needed to replace my screen to pull data off of it. This did the trick at a reasonable cost. I didn't secure the screen because I was sending the phone in for warrantee replacement anyway, but the screen itself worked fine when I hooked it up.

This screen kit went in very easily compared to other phone models and products, and made the phone look almost brand new again!

Llegó en muy buen tiempo, incluso antes de lo esperado, pero no incluyó el kit de herramientas como se muestra, una sugerencia sería omitir foto de las mismas.

Pantalla de muy mala calidad, no sirvió el touch del display y los colores nada parecidos a la pantalla original, no lo recomiendo, no lo compren. Si llegó con todas las herramientas pero de nada sirvió con esa calidad tan mala.
