Much better than the original Accutronics Reverb tank it replaced.

Didn't make much difference in the monoprice tube amp 15w. some online reveiws suggest that it's reverb tank could or should be upgraded. To my ear, This one reduced decay time while eliminating some undesirable harmonics. But the wet/dry mix on your amp should very closely approximate this tanks' tone and depth. Worth the money? probably. Big difference? Nope. If you are using a foot switch for the reverb and you hear a hum, it might be the foot switch sheilding and not the tank. So in a nutshell, Great replacement for a damaged tank. But IMHO it just doesnt make enough difference to be considered an upgrade.

My stock reverb for my Blues Jr iii had started to get noisy. It was never particularly great and only really usable up to about 4. But I didn't really know any different and thought that this was the way it was meant to sound. So I installed this mod and sure it fixed the noise issue. But the quality of the reverb is hugely better now, plus it's usable all the way up to 12 and very nicely graduated. It's super easy to install (just remember which lead is In and Out) and can be fitted in 5 minutes. Perhaps the best 18 bucks I ever spent!

Not as good as the stock Ruby on my Blues JR. Trust me.

Excellent sounding reverb tank - it's just terrific. Sounds MUCH BETTER than the small (5") plastic (horrible sounding!) tank that it replaced. It's a night and day difference. Installation was easy.
