Westinghouse 7775200 Soleil Polyurethane Ceiling Medallion, 20-Inch Diameter, White

I have used many medallions in installing a ceiling fan or lights. They have ranged from cheap thin plastic that warped when installed all the way to using carved wood. This is by far the best unit I can find on the market. The material is a solid, light very stable polyurethane material that easily fits against the ceiling using a polyurethane caulk adhesive. Painted before installation, this unit is gorgeous as a finished product . All I did was order the size appropriate to the size of the room and bingo! You will enjoy the completed look!

I got this to cover a slightly oversized hole in my ceiling where I had a new ceiling fan installed. I painted it to match the ceiling color and its perfect. Great quality, great design!

Bought this to cover up a large hole around the electrical box that my ceiling fan/light was going to hang from. Looks great and is very sturdy. Be aware that you may need to purchase longer screws than the ones provided to hang your light or fan from. The medallion obviously makes the distance between your fixture and the electrical plate wider. I was barely able to get the screws provided into the screw holes in the electrical box.Looks beautiful! One of the few home improvement projects in my life that gave me a short cut (versus fixing the hole) that made the project even better.

we have 4 of these ceiling medallions in our circa 1901 home, and have been very pleased with the results. once painted, they look like plaster, a cinch to adhere and install. a nice finishing touch for ceiling fixtures. make sure to measure before ordering. we love ours.

Really nice, easy to install. We had a bit of a battle getting the light fixture mounted around it, though that may have been our error. May have been easier to get some of the light fixture hooked up prior to attaching/gluing the medallion to the ceiling. Now, we have an old house with not a lot of room to work with in the walls so it may have been just us :)

I bought this to cover the ceiling imprint of a removed square lamp fixture. The square was 18" diameter, so 20" medallion was perfect. I had to enlarge the center hole just a little bit to fit the new light fixture - it was easily enlarged with my Dremel-like grinding tool.Mounted it with double-stick glue strips and Liquid Nails for small projects.It looks great! Added style to my room.

I actually purchased this for making DIY wreaths. Leave it this white color and simply add ribbon, bows, or other embellishment. Works great for this purpose! It's lightweight thus easy to hang. The back in unfinished, not painted, just FYI.
