C-3701 Black Hardshell A-Model Mandolin Case,Natural

Very nice mandolin case. Sturdy, nice looking, sufficient padding with an interior compartment for holding picks etc. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because the handle is not balanced and the case tilts uncomfortably. Luckily I don't have to carry it around much. And Amazon can't be beat for shipping speed!

This case is definitely sturdy, with some decent padding. It's also quite light. I have a Kentucky KM 150s A Style Mandolin, and there is a lot of empty room around the head stock, to the mandolin slides in the case back and forth. It would be nice if it was a little snugger. Might just wrap it in a cloth when I travel.

hi, I, would like to say a big thx! to Amazon.com for my recent purchase of this mandolin hard caseIt, arrived in 2 days very secure & wrapped real nice for protection It, is a great case & I, believe that after first placing the mandolin inside the case I, knew right away the way the top lid pads over the mandolin`s bridge & neck/where accessory compartment is, upon closing case it holds the instrument in "just the right way with it`s support",the bottom of the case inside has just the right support needed at the bottom of the instrument & very nice side cushioning there & so on!you, could not ask for a better case then this one, in (black color)interior just what we wanted always & soft padding inside the case around the instrument`s body & being very supportive in & around the neck over the storage compartment & all the way up to etc.This, is a great hard case for this mandolin, "no movement", & closes very nice & snug I, would say that this is the "exact hard case for this mandolin"of which mine is the Kentucky KM-174 A Style Oval Hole (Burgundy) Mandolin which I, ordered just one month ago from Amazon.com.. I bought this for my father's mandolin, and I am very impressed with the quality of this case. It is extremely well made for the price. I've seen ones that cost 3 times as much that weren't made any better.The latches are good ones, they latch snugly and don't feel flimsy. The interior is very silky and soft, and the foam is firm and supportive. The hinge on the inner compartment feels better than most too, it doesn't feel like it might fall apart if you accidentally bent it back too far.The exterior of the case is thick enough that it doesn't sag in the center like most cheap cases are prone to doing, and the sides of the lid are a nice right angle that gives a nice tight feel when it closes.All in all, you can't go wrong with this one, in fact, I might look into seeing if the manufacturer makes a case for my guitar.

I tried this case because I was looking for a less expensive alternative to the $100 canadian made wood cases. My mandolin is A3 replica and this case had almost an inch of space around the sides between the mandolin and lining, way too much flopping around room. You get what you pay for.

I bought this for my antique banjo mandolin. I was a little hesitant, as the banjo mandolin is a hybrid, and the body is wider than a typical mandolin. (the interior width is 11 inches). Although the case is a little longer than necessary, the mandolin fits like a glove, nicely cushioned, and well padded. Nice plush interior, neck support. Extra pad above bridge area to cushion the strings. 3 secure latches, with a lock & keys on one of them. I had read one review that the handle was placed awkwardly, but with the weight of the instrument in the case, it is well balanced. Very well built for the price range! Not a fiberglass hardshell, but by no means a flimsy fiberboard case, or a canvas gig bag. Fully recommend! 5 STARS

This is a nice case for the price. If you want the top of the line this isnt the case your want. but if you want a good case for a great price, this case will definitely get the job done. I have been completely satified with its performance.

I inherited a 60 year-old mandolin from my father that had a broken down case. I ordered this case through Amazon to replace the old one. This case is well built and has a solid feel to it. I like the plush lining that keeps the mandolin snug and secure in the case. I am quite pleased with this purchase, and I think that it was well worth the money, since it cost me about a third of the cost of some cases I examined at a local retail music store. I would recommend this case to anyone with an A style mandolin.
