**Updated review due to excellent customer service**I'm leaving my original review below - behold my ignorance on staining. I reached out to them because of the dent/ding in the side, and they expedited a replacement shipment to my house. It was straightforward helpful customer service, and I commend them on it. On the staining, turns out the coloration differences are from the natural patterns in the wood - not from any staining. The replacement has a totally different coloration pattern (one that I prefer in fact). Be aware that each one is unique, and I think you'll be very happy with what you get.This is a well made tray. Excellent materials and craftsmanship in the joining. I expect this to last for years. I had to ding this twice, though for what I see as defects that should have been caught before shipping. The first is a minor ding/dent on one side of the tray. It's minor, but it is visible, and at this price point it shouldn't be there. The second is the staining. One one side it visibly stops midway down the side of the tray creating a jarring line that detracts from the quality of the wood. It does feel protected despite the light color. Overall: this purchase was a mixed bag. May you have better luck if you purchase one.

You get what you pay for. This is clearly made with quality material and is crafted to last. 2 years later and it is as good as new. I bought an Artmeer tray for 1/3 the price of this and it fell apart in 2 weeks. Spend the extra money and buy something that will last.Thank you Virginia Boys.

We love this product for lots of reasons. First, the appearance is beautiful. From the wood grain to the simple but classy style. We use our tray as a decoration when it's not being used for serving. Second, the smell of the wood as you open the package. You know it's real wood and that it's made with quality. Third, it's our favorite tray for serving - the handles and ledge make it so we don't have to worry about dropping anything or it sliding off easily like we do with some of our other serving trays. All in all, it is (and probably always will be) our favorite serving tray.

Well built with REAL WOOD!!! Very nice fit and finish on this tray which I bought as a gift for my wife. I would definitely recommend it, and would definitely look at other products made by this company! Very nice tray... plain and simple but beautifully built! I would buy again!

When I first took this serving tray out of the box I was worried about how light-weight it was. That worry disappeared when I saw the obvious workmanship that went into it. It definitely won't bend under the weight of regular use. It's the perfect size for the coffee table, or to serve drinks/appetizers. It arrived in perfect condition; no dings, scratches, or uneven look to the staining. It's clear this tray was made to last.

Beautifully crafted walnut serving tray with real dovetail joinery that can be used in any part of your home. We keep it on our cottage table for everyday use, but with the quality of this tray and the craftsmanship it would be at home in a fine dining room also. This tray has a warm hand rubbed finish instead of the "plastic" polyeurothane feel everything seems to be covered in today.

Very well made. Mine was a darker color than the advertised image but acceptable for my application.
