Works well on darkening wood. It is effective and easy to use. It is applied by a sponge of paint brush making it easy to apply and to use on surface.

Used on bare wood in a dolls house
I transfered the wax into a glass dish and melted it in boiling water in a saucepan. The applied the melted wax with a paintbrush onto the bare wood face. This ensured the wax penetrated into the wood, any excess was wiped away with rags. The resultant finish was excellent.

It's a good waxing product that stains your wood darker.
A small size tub of dark wax that I used twice. Good overall effect on a light wooden coffee table, but have since used Oak Dark wood stainer to get a deeper dark colour for my table to match the dark wooden unit in my living room.

It's not dark
The wax is not dark brown it is more of a dark red when applied..I do not recommend this product
