Basket Muzzle Horse

I bought this grazing muzzle because I was using the original style greenguard grazing muzzle on my coloured cob mare and we were having issues. She was either breaking the straps of the greenguard or managing to push the muzzle to one side and still eat grass. This bucket muzzle stays firmly attached with the heavy duty velcro straps and has worked effectively at slowing down her grass consumption. The only negative is i think it needs a strap at the front too, So i attached one of her greenguard straps and now its perfect. It is roomy enough not to rub, has good size gaps for her nostrils and so far its has worked well. This is a good grazing muzzle for horses that don’t try to get the whole headcollar off in the field.

Great item. Works perfectly. I have attached it to a normal headcollar and he's had it on for 4 weeks now without managing to get it off. I can still give him his medicine in his carrot through the nose holes. I bought a spare in case he lost this one in the field, but i don't think I'll ever need it. He hasn't put any weight on even though his field is full of grass.

I would certainly recommend this muzzle . Have tried several others on the market but just one day of wearing it and I have a much happier girl. No stressing as she usually does and she doesn't look like Hannibal Lecter.
