Can this be used as an amp selector? 1 input and 4 outputs?

i tried that today and yes it can, but only one amp plays at a time, i could not find a way to make it bi-amp or tri-amp (i had 3 amps hooked up), but i could pick any of the 3 amps. i went loop send to each amp. the Electro-Harmonix Tri Parallel Mixer lets you play 3 amps $152 fwiw, i own both and highly recommend both, i use the hotone to do pedal and amp comparisons.

Can you use all effects at once and select 2 or 3 and they all work?

Yes,it's programmable.Using the bank mode you can set it up for 4 banks with different pedal cofigurations that you want to use.Then switch between banks.You can also leave it on a bank and switch the bank mode off and turn on/off each effect you have on for that particular bank.You only have 4 patches for pedals but you can chain pedals together for the patches.If you like delay and reverb combined you could chain those two together.You can also patch another entire multi effect pedalboard and then switch within that pedalboard or patch 4 multi effect boards and bank between them all.Got 4 amps...switch between all 4 of them...lol.It's just a switching pedal that allows you to switch between anything.Neat little pedal that serves it's purpose well.

It says "relay switching". Can you hear a noticeable click when switching?

I haven't noticed any click when I switch

Is power supply included with this item?

Yes. Also runs on normal 9v input. I run mine from a pedal power source.

Good switcher

I love this thing! I am more of a minimalist so this switcher is perfect because it’s not too over the top with functionality but it has enough to program your song parts out with three channels. Good price for something that can control your amp Chanel as well. The size of the switcher does not take a lot of real estate from the pedal board assuming you are using a professional size pedal train or equivalent. Directions are very easy to understand. I would recommend this product.

MUST HAVE!!!

This thing is AMAZING. Especially for the price. If you use pedals this is a MUST have in my opinion. I personally would prefer the buttons to be a bit further apart, but I think that's more of a personal problem than a manufacturer's problem. Hands down this is the best money I've invested into pedals. Changing tones is as simple as a single tap, no more tap dancing as fast as possible to switch between sounds.

Nice low cost switcher

For the price this thing is nice. Rugged, good looking, many features.There are just some things I wish were improved:- I think the control output isn’t floating since I got ground loops- I wish the amp control output state could be controlled by the scenes, and not just in manual mode

Disappointed

The unit was sturdy and seemed well constructed, but whenever it was engaged the signal level dropped precipitously and tone suffered greatly. Returned it and was issued a refund. Luckily I had time to test it before our next gig so I wasn't caught by surprise at a show.

Pancake plugs do not work

The big let down! All or my patch cable, which is the switch craft industry standard pancake type that I use with my other loopers do not fit this. The spacing is too close between the connectors that none of my cables fit.

Works great, no issues

I dont ever write reviews but saw this getting a bad rap and would not want people to pass on it based on the negative reviews. I'v had no tone loss, its simple to use and a great value for the money. I use the EBS flat cables with right angle and they fit great. I'm using pretty high end pedals, Analogman KOT, Wampler pedals and they do not sufferLove it!
