Lace33062 Finger Burners Humbucker Set - Burnt Chrome Covers

These pickups were incredible! I play mostly grunge and metalcore and I found these to be perfect for the sound I wanted to achieve. They are very responsive and clear. Clean tones are great! They also look really nice! The burnt chrome I recieved looked pretty cool! Definitely recommend them!

I was looking for something with more output, so I bought a set of the Finger Burners and installed them in an Epiphone Les Paul (see pics). They look awesome, but they don't sound much better than the stock Alnico Classic pickups. One recommendation is that they should heat shrink the wires together so you are not trying to fish 5 wires through the body cavity. Other than that I'm just "meh" on them. Maybe I expected too much of them, but I get better sound out of the stock 61 Zebras in my Gibson Les Paul.

I have used these before but always purchased from Lace. Will always buy from Lace from here on out. These are well grounded and I have replaced every component twice. This pickup set buzzes badly. As a luthier trying to save money on over-head I am being crushed.

Know these all look totally unique, each one in their own way. As in, what you see pictured is not what you will get. You will get one that has it's own look and you may be surprised...pleasantly or with disappointment.You may get a similar looking one...you may get a drastically different looking one. There is no consistency. Pretty hit or miss and that's frustrating.

I got a fantastic deal on this pickup! For some reason it went down to around $50 for a couple days, so I snatched one up for my cheap little Epiphone SG Junior. This pickup makes my $100 guitar sound more like a $300-400 guitar! The fancy color effect on it is cool, but not bright at all like it's pictured, so try not to be too disappointed. I personally would've liked the brighter colors, but the sound of the pickup makes up for its lack of aesthetic excitement.

The pickup didn't get burned properly or somethingIt had some blue coating on it I thought was a protective coating and Iscratched it up trying to get it off so I sanded it off and going to use itHope it sounds killer

Great sounding humbucker.Hot,but not muddy.
