Soft steel - not for fishing heavy fish
These hooks are soft steel. I have some really cheap Walmart hooks (no brand value pack) that are harder than these. I tested these hooks against the bulk Walmart hooks by bending them with two pairs of pliers. It was obvious the Bulk hooks from Walmart were much stronger (and about the same price). I was afraid to use these and have a big fish straighten one out. I sent them back. The reviews indicate these are great hooks? I thought maybe they would be a step up from no name bulk hooks from Walmart. Not by my standards. I’ve always been taught - you get what you pay for. Should have known better.

Not so pointy hooks
These hooks I brought are not pointy enough to hold the fish and lost many fishes due to this. The hooks are not bent at perfect angle and some hooks are not big enough to catch fish.

I LOVE THEM VERY NICE HOOKS
I received these and they were much better then I expected. I rigged a few and I see they are a bit thicker then I thought.They just refuse to bend so their going to be good for me here where I live by the Ocean.I will for sure order more.The short wait was worth it and the price can't be beat
