Great quality
I can't rate these high enough. Safe green was the perfect color for my spring decor. Napkins are large and came out of the wash stain-free. You do have to iron. I steam ironed mine and they look brand new again. Will order other colors.

Great napkins
I bought 2 dozen of these about 9 months ago because I was sick of picking up shredded napkins/paper towels from the living room floor. (My dogs think paper shredding is the national pastime.) Yeah, they're wrinkly, but 100% cotton always is, and if you take time to smooth them out when folding, they stack very nicely. No, they are not quite square, but again, if you take a little time folding them, they are perfectly presentable. After nine months of constant use, all the hems are still intact and there doesn't seem to be any stains. (I do NOT spot treat before washing.) They are still thick and sturdy, although they do seem to be getting a little softer. The color is still a rich, dark royal blue. In short, totally serviceable. Would not want to be without them.

Not fine linen, but very serviceable
I've had these napkins for 3.5 years now. I bought them in white, to be used as our every day dinner napkins. They are great as casual napkins, but I wouldn't buy them as wedding linen, as the description suggests. They soften after washing, but they also wrinkle (Of course they wrinkle... They are 100% cotton!), so I wouldn't buy them for use in a restaurant or at a wedding. The pre-wash size is listed as 20"x20", but the many-washes-later size is about 15.5" by 18.5". This is a perfectly serviceable size, but don't expect them to stay 20x20. I plan to order more of these to freshen our napkin supply.Pros:* They are absorbent* They wash really well (I have twin teenage boys who seemingly dip them directly into spaghetti sauce, and it always washes right out)* The hems are sewed well, and have held up 100% for more than 3 years of daily useCons (these mostly don't matter to me because they are just our daily napkins):* They are not perfectly square* The first time you wash them, they will curl at the edges* They shrink quite a bit

These are great!
For everyday use these are great! After they're washed, they soften up. No ironing needed unless you like to iron. I bought 1 pack, then 2 more. You can use them for several meals before dropping them down the laundry chute. I wash them all together less often than once a month. I wash them separately from anything else that's not green bc I think they bleed a little, but that should stop soon; it may only have happened on the very first wash. I love that they're 100% cotton. These'll last for years. Bye bye paper towels & napkins.

Just ok
These are nice and big but end up with creases and wrinkles that require ironing and I am not a fan of ironing napkins. I wish I could find cotton napkins less prone to wrinkles around every edge.

Very nice napkins for the price
These are very nice napkins for the price and I would not be embarrassed to set my party table with them. This is the third set of napkins I have ordered off amazon. I returned the 1st set because of the color and the 2nd set for poor quality, sloppy sewing. Both of those sets were polyester and seemed cheap. This set is 100% cotton--looks like a lightweight sailcloth. I am very happy with it. The color is rich, a berry red, perfect for Christmas. They are sewn well. The hem stitching is straight and the corners are mitered as they should be. All of the napkins measured 19.75" to 20" inches in either direction before washing. They only shrunk in one direction and maximum shrinkage was 1/2". I see there are some complaints about having to iron these--well, duh, they are 100% cotton. You can expect to iron them just as you would linen. However, the trick is to take them out of the dryer when they are still a little damp and they will iron beautifully with one swipe of an iron on the cotton setting. My first pic shows the napkin as it looked out of the dryer and after one pass with a hot iron. The second pic shows the stitching and the mitering on the corner--perfect. Some of the napkins were out of square after I washed them, but if you take them out of the dryer, especially while they are still damp, you can fold them in half matching the corners and stretch them in whatever direction they need to make them square again. The last pic is of a stack of three after washing and ironing. Not perfect, but nice enough for guests, and well worth the price!

Junk
When I received the 20” by 20” square white cotton napkins I ordered I noticed the fabric was similar to many restaurant napkins as the description stated. I then followed the instructions for washing and drying to remove any residual lint. The napkins were very wrinkled - it’s cotton so that’s not a surprise - so I started to iron and fold them. As I ironed the first one, I noticed it was hard to match the corners but the result was marginally OK. The second napkin I ironed also had a problem aligning the corners and when folded the napkin was about an inch shorter than the first one. I unfolded the napkins and looked critically at it an it was apparent it was not square. I turned it 90 degrees and folded it again and now it it was close to the size of the first napkin. I then unfolded both napkins and measured them. The first was 19 1/2 inches by 17 1/4 inches - certainly not the 20 by 20 advertised on the web site and on the product label that came with the napkins. The second napkin was 19 3/4 by 17 5/8 inches. At this point I though they aren’t square but when folded they don’t look too bad, certainly not the way they should be, but marginally OK. Then I started on the third napkin and the corners would not align at all - I unfolded it and looked critically and it was neither square or rectangular as the first two were, it was a trapezoid and when I measured it was 19 inches by 16 1/2 inches. This one was unusable.Basically these napkins are junk. You may find a few that are kinda OK, but overall the quality is junk. I returned them. The only thing good was they could be returned with no hassle.
