Accoutrements Jane Austen Action Figure

She’s too cute for words. Tho I’m sure Miss Austen herself could manage. I’ll just say that I love her and she’s perfect displayed next to my collection of Austen novels

My sister is a huge fan of Jane Austen, and this was the perfect "fun gift" for her at Christmas. It's quirky, but well made and sure to bring a smile to the recipient's face!

I was thrilled to get my Jane Austen Action figure on Amazon. I am in the Jane Austen Society and I do go to lots of meetings. I took this little figure with me to a meeting and passed her around. I noticed that everyone moved her arms up and down and really checked her out. I will also put her in displays. She is the first Action figure I have ever bought for myself. She looks durable and well made. I believe her outfit could be more colorful as if she was going to a ball. Plus she should have a high waisted dress as was the Regency fashion. I am glad I bought her.

Hopefully her intelligence and humor will show up in my writing. I did have to do a bit of "surgery" very carefully with fingernail scissors for her to be able to hold her book. Her hand isn't shaped to get a secure grip, but it works okay. Love this! Wish there had been a Shakespeare available as well. Maybe a Dickens. Grateful to have a female author, one whose work I love. The figure is cute and well-enough made for the price.

For any Jane Austen or Regency period fan this is fun. I bought this to replace the one our dog destroyed because I missed having it. The only problem is my new one does not hold the pen the way my old one did. I don’t know why they changed that. Still, I smile when I see her on my bookshelf.

I got this for my sister after a debacle on ebay with something similar and was so surprised how nice it was when she opened it. She really loves Jane and classic lit and to have Jane as a figure, this was perfect. The figure has a little feather quill and a miniature copy of her novel Pride and Prejudice for display. The arms move easily and figure can even hold the items that comes with it. Perfect gift for your favorite Janeite.The shipping was outstanding, no damage whatsoever, kudos to getting it here safe and sound.

I bought this figure to use as an example in my classroom. My students were doing research on a historical person and were to present the research by creating a real-life action figure. The Jane Austen figure was useful as an example and pretty fun for me to have. If you know Jane Austen fan, this figure would make a great little gift.

So, obviously no one *needs* this product, but it was my birthday so I got it.Compared to the Shakespeare Accoutrements Figure I bought a couple of years ago, this one has some quality issues. If you can see in the comparison photo, Jane’s hands are deformed. Her book-holding hand’s fingers are melted back into her palm and will never hold a book (poor Jane). Her quill-holding hand’s thumb and pointer fingers were melded together. I snipped them apart, but the gap is not big enough for the quill-she will never write again :(The Shakespeare figure has a hole in the palm of his hand and his book has a peg. You fit the peg into his palm so he can hold his book fairly well.One plus-Jane’s skirt allows her to be less tipsy than Shakespeare who will fall over with the slightest bump causing him to drop his book and quill.
