LittleBigPlanet3 Limited Edition - PlayStation 4

First things first,Although I'm a huge LBP fan and have all the games except the Vita version, I will make this a realistic review.The beta testers didn't do their job by reporting bugs and glitches before the game's release because they were too busy creating levels to care, HOWEVER!, there was a recent patch which shows that the developers are working hard on making sure we get what we want.They also announced that by December 16th the bugs should be patched along with the DLC fixes.If you can't deal with the bugs and glitches for the time being then do not get the game until then.Gameplay is beautiful and the graphics have been improved to such a nice quality. The game feels good and satisfying.Multiplayer as of now gets laggy so for now I am playing alone most of the time until the updates get released.The story mode is very short. I beat it in less than a day.The new features include 16 layers of create mode, new tools, materials, stickers, 3 new characters (4 including mini toggle), costumes, etc...This game is only going to get better with new releases and I am very pleased with the new tools to play with in the game. The possibilities are endless.Keep in mind about December 16th. If you're going to cry about a brand new game being glitchy or buggy after getting it, then don't buy it on its release.All games have issues.These developers are working hard on the 300+ costumes and DLC and I can't complain since they have released multiple patches already.Awsome job Sumo Digital!

I bought this for my teenage son, who is a "gamer" and he says this games is awesome!!! There is a lot more included in this game verses the 2ND edition... and the 2ND edition is pretty spectacular as well. There is no blood, gore or nudity in this game so it is good for all ages. This game is great for developing creative thought and building objects. Its a great game and makes the user think and use strategy and creativity.

Although it is not as epic as the first Little Big Planet, it is a good game. The storyline is short because it is focused to be an online game. Sountrack is nice. It would have been nice if you cpuld use all the characters in all the levels.

What I liked:- Great game, same gameplay as the first two games with some interesting additions.What I didn't like:- Story/plot seems pretty short, we beat it in three days with only a few hours of gameplay each day.- Seems buggy.- I found a bug -- Currently I can't have a local second player join my game: I get my game started and go into the pod. Second player hits PS button and logs in. After a while Error message pops up saying "a player failed to load your profile". Some random loading screen starts and the pod reloads. Second player doesn't appear and can't do anything. If the second player tries to join while I'm in a level, nothing happens, no error, nothing. Works fine if we swap profiles (second player starts the game and I join theirs) but we don't have any of our story progress on that profile.-- The following temporary fix worked once so far. Start game, go into pod. Hit PS button on second controller, choose "Guest" profile. Go into a story level Exit the story level, back to the pod. Hit PS button on second controller, do "Switch user" to the profile you want to load. The second player should load fine, costume and all.

This is a Used(Pre - owned) version and is about $10 dollars cheaper than $59.9. The DLC are actually still valid which is a pleasant surprise. All in all, a fun game for casual play and a nice change of settings from other genres' games like GTA or CoD.

Once you get past the initial glitch of being unable to continue past the prologue (fixed by replaying the cinematic a few times) this edition of LBP is more of what you expect from previous games with some new features mixed in. If you have played any of the past LBP games, you will most likely enjoy this one. If you're new to the franchise and unsure you might want to wait for the price to drop. There's a bigger emphasis on creating levels this time around, and all the previous DLC is imported for you when using the same account tied to your previous LBP games.

full of bugs,crashes constantly,camera didnt work at first,cant join anyone online, and the pictures the camera takes to decorate your pod are really dull n washed out, very very dissapointed as i loved the other lbp games

My wife and I are huge fans of LBP 1 and 2 and LBP Karting, so ordering this launch edition was an easy decision. There are definitely some things that we like about it, like the new characters, new tools, etc. It's also a visually beautiful game, and we were happy to be able to get it for the PS4.Unfortunately, the game has been extremely buggy. It's crashed 2-3 times, and there have been countless bugs we've run into while playing that force us to restart levels. I attached a photo of the last bug we ran into, which was a respawn portal appearing in the middle of nowhere and dumping us out onto some place we couldn't get out of (forcing another level restart).The game has a ton of potential once the bugs are ironed out, so we're probably going to stop playing until they release at least an 1.01 update to fix a lot of these launch bugs.
