Grayban Hairspray Color Restorer for Gray Hair

I stopped using hair dye years ago when I developed an allergy to it. I was concerned that I might be allergic to this product as well, but have not had any trouble yet. I found the spray bottle hard to control, so I poured it into a small squeeze bottle. This works much better for me. I squeeze a small amount on the hair at the roots and then run it down the length of the hair using an old tooth brush. The hair gets well coated and I don't end up with spray in my face.The coverage is subtle. The gray in my light brown hair turns blondish after a few applications. The color lasts well so long as I keep my hair out of chlorinated swimming pool water.

I was skeptical of this product as I am of any product in this category. However, I was pleasantly surprised (amazed actually) by the results I am getting after only having used the product for one week. I am 49 years old and the hair on the sides of my head has been greying for the last several years. In fact the hair is quite white instead of just grey. I have used this product once a day for a week, and I have noticed a tremendous difference. The hair on the sides of my head and elsewhere is turning to its original color. I am not going to continue applying it so that all of the grey disappears, because that's not the look I am after. After only one week of use I will pair down use to twice per week and see if that maintains the color balance I want. The product does have a distinct aroma but it's not overpowering and it's not off-putting, at least for me. Also, not much of the product is needed per use. A couple of spritzes on various parts of the hair, comb it in, and you're done. I can see this bottle lasting six months to a year. I generally put the product on my hair in the evening and then sleep on it. Then wash it out in the morning in the shower. So many times in the past I have read product claims, bought the product, and been disappointed. Not in this case. It really worked for me. Great stuff.4/29/17 Update: Continue to be amazed by this product. Works great. Has eliminated most of my grey. I suspect it could eliminate all of it, but I am purposely using an amount that leaves some of the grey stick around.

I had to throw this mess away. The smell was so horrible....it was so bad i could smell my hair all day long amd it made me get a headache....it started out light and floral but the smell developed into a chemical smell that made me want to gag...im not even picky when it comes to smells...i tried all kinds of things to mask the smell so i wouldn't have to throw it away after using it only 2 times, but it had to go. I've never thrown away a product after 2 uses before.

This product works very well for me and looks better than any hair dyes I've used in the past. The ONLY thing I don't like is the smell. My son even came downstairs and asked, "Mom, what is that smell? Is that a new air freshener or something. It's making me gag!" Fortunately, it doesn't make me gag, but I REALLY dislike the smell. I love the effectiveness and the natural look, though!

Love it! I have a brown beard that is getting very gray. It has always had a mix of black, brown, blonde, and red hairs. After a week almost all of the grey hairs are now of mixed colors again. It looks perfectly natural. The smell is not bad at all. It smells like soap and typical hair products. A female coworker actually asked I was wearing and said it smelled good. Honestly it is almost perfect so far. Yes if you drip or overspray it onto surfaces it dries from clear to brown but wipes clean with water. Excess chemical that is not absorbed will also rinse out when washed. Don’t worry. The hair will remain perfect. I can say that is amazing for me. I say give it a try. I hope you have the same success.

I did not want to be a slave to coloring my hair, and even though I'm really old(!) my hair is not very gray. I use this product occasionally, when my gray really starts to show, and it looks like my natural color. Follow the directions on the label, and it works.

This worked after a few days...my greys were slightly turning golden brown.What I wasn’t expecting was the listing states “safe for beard use” but the bottle explicitly disagrees.It burned my skin around the hairline.....i would not use this on my face.Mediocre results for dealing with oily hair and the smell. Not recommended.

I have streaks of white all through my hair mostly around my face. I have been coloring my hair for 30 years to cover my white hair, I was starting to loose hair from constant coloring. The Grayban color restorer doesn't change the color of the white but it has restored the rest of my hair to a light brown/blond color which is the original color of my hair so now it looks like I have highlighted my hair with the white coming through. It looks natural I'm satisfied with the result. I don't like that the cap on the bottle leaks all over my hands if you can fix this it would be great.

It works. No ifs no buts, just works. No bad smell either

anyone thinking of buying this product, dont, it is totally useless, its very sticky like syrup on your hair once you spray it on and it makes no difference whatsoever to hair colour

Works and works fast. Blends in as well for a more natural look.

Product works as advertised; no complaints.

It's a fake and not safe product!
