Linteum Textile Hospital Thermal SNAGLESS Spread Blanket, 100% Cotton (74x100 in, Cream)

Received very promptly, far earlier than the projected dates. Green is a nice, antique aqua-teal color and the square pattern is subtle. Husband likes the color.Husband calls me Swamp Thing because I sweat a lot at night. Purchased this blanket to use in summer for warmth that wasn’t going to make me a bigger Thing. So far so good. Texture is fine; you can tell it will soften. The weave is not as tight as I expected or desired and as result I am doubtful of it’s durability. When washed by itself for the first time, it had a thread come out (~7in) in the middle of the blanket. That spot is already compromised now so am being careful with it. Can’t return since already washed. For $20, I would have liked to see it hold at least a few washes, especially since I imagine hospital-type blankets should be quite durable for all the washing it gets. But, it is what it is.

I like this Green HOSPITAL THERMAL SNAGLESS BLANKET which was sent to me straight from the Linteum company in New Jersey (be aware that a generous delivery window is required). Although the design is described as "checkered," it is not checkered in color -- it's all the same smooth green, described by the maker as "green teal," though to me it's a good foil for the sage-colored sheets I use. The actual weave lies in flat patches, which I suppose accounts for the "checkered" description, when it's really more of a checked herringbone. It appears very sturdy, with good edges, and the patched-weave style would help keep it intact. I am a little surprised by its heaviness -- easily three pounds. After considerable shopping, I simply could not find a lightweight all-cotton hospital blanket in this or any other color without buying half a dozen. However, this one should come in handy on the cold Chicago winter nights to come! Since it's all-cotton, the price is more than fair.Let me add that it launders well and, as the manufacturer says, can serve as either a blanket or a bedspread. The color I received is equivalent to the photo.

I love this blanket so much, I bought another one for our guest bedroom. For the cold season, it's a wonderful layer underneath our comforter. And now that it's heating up, it's great with just a sheet. It's 100% cotton and is the perfect weight for me. Note the dimensions. I have a king bed and it works great horizontally, but only fits to the bottom of the bed. I'm small, so this is no problem. Perhaps it would not work for a larger person. Nonetheless, it's a great value and quality and I consider it to be one of my better purchases.

Nice blanket. I like the texture. I haven't used it yet, so I'm not sure how sturdy it is. The only thing that was not to my preference is color. I purchased the blanket to match some items in my decorum, and hoped it would match, but the color tone was completely off. BUT! One reviewer mentioned that GREEN blanket is more like AQUA or TEAL color, I ordered this blanket in GREEN, and the color was suitable for me! The green is blue enough to match some other "blue" things in my decorum :-) The green blanket looks green against the blue blanket, but with other aqua/teal items, it looks more towards wave/teal/blue than green. I'm keeping the green blanket, but not sure if I will return the blue blanket, it depends on the return shipping cost.

This is an OK quality summer-weight blanket. It is large enough for a full-sized bed. I ran it through the washer and it didn't shed an excessive amount of lint or pull threads. It's not the softest blanket in the world, but it is about what you'd expect for heavyweight cotton.I would have given this another star but the color wasn't what I was expecting. I ordered the green and it's definitely more of a light aqua or teal color that clashes with my sage-colored bed linens.

The order arrived ahead of the time specified and in good condition. By all accounts the quality of the blanket appears to be good and I expect this product will hold up well over time, use and washings. If it fails to do so, I will come back here and update this review. That said, I usually prefer to wait at least 90 days before reviewing a purchase. However, the product supplier asked that I post a review now, rather than wait and see how the product preforms/holds up. It is for that reason that I cannot recommend this product as I cannot be certain of its quality. Perhaps in 90 days I will come back and upgrade this review for the better. PerhaPS not. Only time, my memory to do so, and the quality of the product will tell.

Was exactly what I was looking for. Well Made! Feels great to the touch. Tight weave. Quality Cotton. Absolutely loved the extra long length (100 inches) for tucking under mattress but still having plenty of room in bed with out having to untuck the sheets at night. Bought four (4) and will be purchasing more. Wish they came in colors.

I love the bigger size over any of the others I looked at. It fits a full size bed with ease and is a good weight for warmer months or as a second blanket for colder. I have very sensitive skin and don't feel it's scratchy but it will only get softer with each washing. I tried it just out of the dryer and it felt exactly the same as the ones they covered me with at the hospital after my surgery. I ordered the blue and it's true to color. Will be buying a second color for fall.
