After being diagnosed type 2, I researched at least a dozen glucose monitors, and read hundreds of reviews. I went with this one, and after 5 months of use - a pretty big sample size - I can say this is the one. As long as you use the control strips when you should, you shouldn’t have any accuracy issues. Going from finger to finger, my readings don’t fluctuate more than a point or two, and it was only 4 points off from the reading at my doctor’s office. It’s also very easy to use and super portable, with a nice case. I only wish it would automatically connect to my phone app but for the price, I didn’t expect that feature. It’s also worth noting that I have two of those devices, and they both work exactly the same with the same accuracy. So if you’ve got type 2, I would 100% recommend this. If you’re type 1, I think it will provide you with the accuracy you require to dose your insulin properly. Take that for what it’s worth, but keep in mind a review made after hundreds of uses is worth a bit more than a review someone writes about a product after one use, 3 days, etc.

This is the third Glucose monitoring system I have used in one year. The previous ones were very cheaply made and broke after a few months. The lancing devices were cheaply made and it was painful and uncomfortable to pierce my finger.This system is higher quality than I thought it would be based on the price. I would highly recommend this product. I don't have to look any further because this product is an excellent value, and offers a pain free way to check your blood sugar.The attractive carrying case is quilted and has a quality zipper. The elastic pockets inside hold everything securely.The monitor is easy to read. I have accurate results every time.The strips are easy to insert. Read the manual to make sure you insert the correct end into the monitor.The lancets are easy to insert. The manual will show you how to release it and dispose of it when you are done.The best part of this system is that the lancing device is absolutely painless. I have it set to a 4. I really do not feel a thing when it pierces my skin. It is well made and sturdy.Excellent value!!

I have prediabetes, inflammation, high blood pressure, and more. By not eating carbs, I was able to reset everything. This device is wonderful for doing my premeal and my 1 hour post meal blood sugar. I only check once post meal to see if something I ate triggered a sugar elevation. Even in the hospital, our machines would vary from the patient's devices and even to a double stick with our own glucose device. Please know that blood glucose numbers change minute by minute. As soon as your body changes the food into glucose it triggers the insulin response to remove it and store it, changing those glucose numbers. This device can help you choose foods that don't increase your glucose more than 130. Lower is best. I recommend this for diabetic or ketogenic glucose control. These machines are resonably priced with fairly accurate results and are incredibly easy to use. Resupplies are easy to order and also reasonably priced. The lancets are also NOT painful to use. Highly recommend this to anyone monitoring their blood sugars. To your health!

Works great. No issues yet been using for a few months. Reading matches my other more expensive brand. Switched because test strips are very expensive for my Vero Q. Very easy to use. Seems to be accurate.

The monitor is very easy to use, I like that the test strip goes in the machine and I dont have to keep track of it. Also the monitor goes on & off automatically when you insert & remove the strip. The kit included extra test strips and lancets all for a very good price. Other (inexpensive) monitors that I looked at didnt include extras and you had to buy all of it separately, and the price added up. (This kit also comes with a bottle of control solution.) As for accuracy, the test monitor seems to be pretty accurate for an at home test device (opposed to lab tests). I have only recently been diagnosed with diabetes, so having to get one of these for myself was a little intimidating. But once I got this kit and started using it, checking my blood sugar is a breeze. My only complaint is that the log book doesn't fit well in the storage pouch with the kit and the corners curl up because if it. But I still love this kit.

I needed an inexpensive set of strips to test my sugar because my doctor who is gone on maternity leave for 3 months made an error on my subscription and ordered strips once a day instead of three times. I did not notice this because I received a hundred sticks on Aug 20th and thought it was to be refilled Sept 20th only to discover I would not be able to get another prescription until October 20th and it would be 50 strips! Pharmacist said the hundred strips covered two of the three refills! Yikes we are changing some of my meds and testing is critical right now! So I was relieved to find this reasonable alternative to use while I try to get another prescription before October 20th! Love the monitor and ease of use changing codes, etc. The monitor reads the code itself for the strips and needs a little droplet of blood. I found it accurate and very affordable! Saved me lots of stress in this matter!

Doc has me testing my sugar at home to figure out if I'm a secret diabetic that the office labs aren't catching. I have to admit I was dubious because of the cost of glucose meters! I'm so grateful for this low-cost, affordable options! It works well, is easy to use (once I figured it out, since the instructions were decent, but not great for a first-timer - like, oops! I was supposed to do the control serum first before testing my blood the first time?!)... and I LOVE having the carrying case that Everything fits in, even the log book and a pen. I can throw it in my work bag to take to the office, or have it on my bedside for first thing in the morning.
