We moved in to a rental home & it was bugging me to death that the back door sconce light was missing the globe. I bought this and it fit perfectly! Our light is a small wall light with a regular size light bulb.

The light cover came quickly and looked sturdy and clear, but unfortunately was too small. The opening on the one we received was almost 1/4 inch smaller than advertised (3" instead of 3.25") .

I am very pleased with the product I received, I can’t understand why there is so many harsh reviews!To be fair.. In the picture from the seller, it does show the center part of the glass to be more rounded out but it seems to be all the same diameter. The glass is just a uniform cylinder shape all the way through with one side open to fit over the bulb and the other closed for the bottom!However, once it is placed over the lightbulb, it does give the illusion that the center part is rounded out!! For the low, low price of almost $10 bucks, it’s worth your money!

This is supposedly the same as the one I ordered from this company before. The first one I bought was almost $2.00 less and was exactly as pictured. This one does not match the first one that I bought. It does fit but I am annoyed that it is not the same. The picture of the item needs to be changed to reflect the actual product.

I broke my 60 year old porch light "jelly jar" globe. A quick search found this. A quick measurement and I discovered it would fit. It is perfect. I never thought I would find a replacement. I'm very satisfied.

Protects the bulb and keeps water off of the bulb.

I ordered this & lazily installed upon its prompt arrival. Because I failed to insure that the glass cover was secured by the screw and I didn't even bother to put a rubber band around the neck (to protect it from the screw), the product fell off when the wind caught my garage door a day later.Five stars for minimal pieces of glass even though it fell 7 ft onto the sidewalk. I was not sure if it was really safety glass, but it did not shatter and basically broke into 2 big pieces and was easy to clean up.I ordered another one and won't be such a lazy butt when installing this one so it lasts longer than 2 days.

It fits my situation. What I wanted was a simple clear cylindrical shape as opposed to the frosted globe I had. The pull chains for my combo fan & light previously draped over the globe, now they hang straight down. I prefer it like that. Also, I changed the lightbulb to a daylight bulb for plants that I've added to room, and this shade provides more of the spectrum to my plants.
